My dad and I did White Rim Trail in our FJ Cruisers back in the day. It was a lot of fun, but best as a 2 day thing with a camp in the middle. It can be done in one day but it would be a slog, you'd have to start super early and you would come in very late.
Gorgeous country though.
Just your daily reminder that things like this atrocity exist for our Jeeps, and even more bafflingly, people buy them.

So I pulled it out, it just had a OBD pass-through jumper and had two wires that came off for power. It’s a PASSTIME brand. Pretty sure it was for whoever owned the car before, probably financed or something so not too worried, at least now whatever bank owned it before can’t track me :LOL...
Lol well we bought this truck outright, so it must have been from the previous owner. Any ideas on how I can get it out of there? It must just intercept and replace the OBD port from my reckoning?
Hey all, I was just installing my Tazer Mini on my Mojave and noticed a strange box behind the OBD port. This Mojave was second hand 2020, but extremely low miles (about 5k). The box has a red and green light on it that blink periodically while the truck is off. The coiled up harness you see...
One of the best threads ever back on the FJ Cruiser forums when they were first coming out was someone asking about putting a “wench” on the front of their new FJ. The hilarity went on for days.
My great-grandpa had a J-10/Gladiator that he used for bear hunting when he was a guide and then we used as a ranch truck when I was a kid. Then we had another one after that for awhile. Always cool trucks.
If you are worried about it, you could always get a tank treatment at your local auto parts and throw it in to get the same effect as the additive package in a Top Tier fuel.
Just look on the forums and Reddit to see how many people are going from a Raptor to a Gladiator and not a TRX. Including myself. A V8 would make even more people jump ship because Raptor shoppers have been dying for an n/a V8 performance truck since the 6.2L Gen 1 was replaced. Yes, the TRX...
I suspect the concern FCA has is cannibalizing TRX sales. If the Gladiator 392 is more efficient and nearly just as fast (because smaller and lighter), while being significantly cheaper, TRX sales will suffer and there’s no way FCA wants that. I also suspect the Ranger might not get a Raptor...
I've ran Toyos of various types almost exclusively for close to a couple decades on many different trucks, SUVs, and cars and never been unhappy with their performance in any capacity.
Yokohama on the other hand, their AT tire sucked hardcore in snow and wet conditions.
I originally wanted white since the vast majority of our cars were white, but my wife has been dying for a color like this for awhile now and fell in love with this one so I couldn’t say no.
So I've posted in a few threads but thought I'd throw up a formal introduction.
For the last 10 years I've been driving Raptors, had a 2010 Raptor 6.2L SCab a 2013 Raptor SCrew and lately a 2019 Raptor SCrew. I've loved every moment with the Raptor, but unfortunately my latest one has been a...
While it's arguing semantics, the CJ-8 was just a CJ-7 with a bed and since the CJ-7 came immediately before the Wrangler, one could argue that the CJ-8 was a "Wrangler Pickup".
