  1. Do you even wheel ?

I used to take it on the beach and up in the hills often, but yeah, it was just so good on the road. But my last one ('19 Gen 2) turned out to be a lemon so I got burned out. Never should have gotten rid of my last Gen 1.
  2. Recommendation (especially Mojave owners) to deal with annoying hood glare

Oh my GOD the glare is the worst. It's fine most of the day, but when the sun is low in the sky (a few hours from sunrise up and a few hours before sunset) are the absolute worst. I think I'm going to do a decal on the hood scoop and then maybe try a matte wrap on the bad spots (hinge pockets).
  3. Do you even wheel ?

Used to wheel all the time in my FJ Cruiser, including multiple trips to Ouray for the FJ Cruiser meet (including the very first one). Did a big trip to Moab too. Then I had Raptors for 10 years and just didn't feel like wheeling them. Went off road, sure, but nothing very technical. Now I...
  4. Dead Gladiator

Ford used to tow my Raptor for warranty work, but I did have to wait for the driver. Fortunately it was usually just dead in front of my house so it wasn’t a big deal. Towing is usually paid for with the warranty work, at least it should be. And the fact that I had to have it towed 3 times in...
  5. 2.0 4xe strong enough for Gladiator!

You misunderstand, I was posting that to support your opinion that it would still be a good trail rig. I know how it works. The fact that it went so long is interesting, but the power and torque was clearly enough to make it a good trail rig, which is to be expected. I'm for the 4xe all the...
  6. 2.0 4xe strong enough for Gladiator!

I'll just leave this here. ;)
  7. 4XE hybrid for the Gladiator ? ? ?

The US isn't ready for full-electric, full stop. For instance, I live in the middle of nowhere in Washington. We routinely have to travel more than 100mi just for grocery shopping. My inlaws live about 250mi away and we visit them regularly. There are not many full-electric cars on the...
  8. 2.0 4xe strong enough for Gladiator!

I would probably have gotten the 4xe on my JT if it was available. Seems like a great option, the fact that they sandwiched the electric motor between the I4 and the transmission seems really smart to me. It means maintenance and future part replacement are easy since more parts are shared...
  9. Washington Sold: WTB: Tazer Mini

Looking for a Tazer Mini unmarried and ready to go.
  10. Your Jeep JEEP PICKUP

I was messing with the UConnect site and it called it a JL Pickup.
  11. Building a Mojavicon: Adding Lockers and Swaybar to a Mojave

Definitely interested in the Autolynx, that's what I've been looking at for my Mojave. Spendy, but seem to be worth it. My Gen 2 Raptor had a Torsen in the front from stock and it felt way more confident in 4A and 4H than my Gen 1 Raptors did. Too bad the 4A use blew the hubs prematurely...
  12. Jeep gladiator your first Jeep?

First Jeep for me. Have wanted one for a long time now, but didn't have a slot for one in my garage since I had other vehicles that could do basically the same thing. The Gladiator was a perfect fit, since I had to have Ford buy back my Raptor and needed another truck.
  13. Building a Mojavicon: Adding Lockers and Swaybar to a Mojave

Stock for stock, the Mojave has a higher RTI score than the Rubicon when both have the swaybar connected, probably due to the lift the Mojave has and the wider track. Obviously with the swaybar disconnect the Rubicon can get high RTI numbers. Add a front locker and swaybar disconnect to the...
  14. Jeep Acronym?

    James Eats Every Peach
  15. How do you turn off the beeping when backing a trailer?

I wish there was more buttons! Buttons or switches for every function please!
  16. How do Gladiators handle on the highway?

Just got a 2020 Mojave that had 4500 miles on it when we bought it, still smells new inside and 100% stock so far. Came from 10 years of Raptors previously (2x 1st gens, 1x 2nd gen lemon). The Mojave drives great but its definitely "busy" on the road compared to the Raptor. Not nearly as...
  17. Frustration is an understatement......

Why is the dealer jerking you around on dealer installed third-party products Jeep's problem again?
  18. Do all rubicons have the locking bin under rear seat?

Even $400 is steep when there are full aluminum options for around that. Having the handle on it and have it removable is nice but I dunno if that's worth it.
  19. Do all rubicons have the locking bin under rear seat?

Pardon me? $890 for that? Of course this would have to be the one option mine didn't get spec'd with.
  20. What happened to color?

All my cars are and have been white. I feel so attacked. I like white because it’s easy to maintain and always looks good (IMO obviously ?). The only exceptions have been my yellow FJ Cruiser (because of my grandpa’s yellow FJ40), my Blue Flame ‘13 Raptor and now my ‘20 Mojave in Gobi. (And...
