  1. Finding what you want on dealer lots

I used that site two weeks back when I brought my JT home. I've always had issues telling zeros from O's and ones from I's on VIN's. I don't remember which it is but I've read that one or the other isn't used on VIN's, to eliminate that issue. If yours has any of those maybe swap a couple and...
  2. So I am picking up a 2022 Rubicon on Wednesday.

Congrats on the pending purchase, and getting back in a Jeep. I would suggest any must haves depend on your intended usage. I bought my Gladiator for truck duty, it will remain mostly stock. When I bought my JKR I intended it for desert exploring, I began exploring the desert to see how it did...
  3. The people who order at dealerships

If the dealership took your deposit it sounds like you had a deal. Now they won't honor it because Stellantis suspended the discounts? Or did you need to actually take delivery before the discounts were suspended?
  4. Finding what you want on dealer lots

When I found my Gladiator a couple weeks ago I was on the Jeep website, building what I wanted so I could check the price. Then I did something I've never done, I hit the "Find it on a Dealers Lot" button. A build that was close enough (wrong color, but I can live with that) popped up an hour...
  5. Sad day. 1 down from fleet

Sorry for your loss, I love my JKR and would be quit upset if something like that were to happen to it. Good to hear there were no injuries.
  6. Electronic annoyances (rant)

I kept forgetting I hadn't gone through the setup screen. At least I got the clock in a better location. I was wondering if some of the other annoyances could be addressed with JScan, I haven't looked into it closely enough yet.
  7. Electronic annoyances (rant)

I share some of those annoyances with my two week old '23 Sport too. The radio on at start up, small clock display, horn beeping when I step out and shut the door. Also, I would like to be able to move the truck forward with the door open, if this is possible I haven't found the method yet. I'm...
  8. Evolution.... where did you start? Or is the Gladiator your first Jeep?

My first Jeep (not counting the Tonka's that really got me started) was a '59 Willys pickup. I bought it in '87 in SoCal, drove it to AK after getting it running, then sold it when I was a poor college student with nowhere to work on it. After that I had a couple of daily driver CJ7's, a few...
