Interested. Any idea about shipping cost to AL? It only adds $50 on the softopper website, but that sounds low to me.
Also- isnāt the tailgate attachment just peel and stick Velcro? I assume Iād need to pick up some more?
I'm looking to sell my under seat storage box. Asking $500.
Prefer local pickup, but I can ship if you want to pay for it.
Looks like re-key at the dealership is $50, shipping runs $130- $150.
I'll post some pics in a bit, but I think y'all know what it looks like....
@Bestop When you say "very soon" - can you give us any kind of realistic timeline for when these might be ready? This thread was started 12/2018. I know these things take time- but do you think buyers will have these in hand in 3 months? 6? 12?
My truck came with the Aux switch package and I was all excited to add a bunch of lights to the front. Especially after driving my wife's JLU with the halogens. But the stock LED's are so good I can't really justify adding any lighting. The difference is drastic if you drive them back to back.
Checking in from Birmingham, as well. Picked up a used JTR LE on Wednesday! Long term plans include a winch, bed rack, and something to hook up to all these aux switches. For now, I'm happy with the 315s. Excited to be back in Jeep
Congrats! I picked mine up yesterday too. I sold a 75 FJ40 and traded my 2013 tundra to make the price more palatable. Still a massive leap from the last jeep I bought (a 1997 wrangler for $16,600 brand new off the lot!) but Jeep has come a LONG way since then. I'm lucky that the weather...
After months of searching I get to join the Launch Edition Club! Only 9k miles on her. I traded in a 2013 Tundra so I'm adjusting to the much smaller cab. But I love all the new technology and the 8mpg gain I'm seeing already. I thought I'd want 37s but the 315s actually have a nice stance...
@surfisher2a I swapped the hardtop and soft top on my wife's JLU a month ago and it wasn't as daunting as I was expecting. Probably took me an hour, but I think I could get it done faster the second time. I have a hoist for the hard top so I've got a good system for removing it. The soft top...
I promise I've dug around the site and the internet but I still can't find any pictures of a soft top with a bed rack. I'm trying to imagine what the 'man bun' looks like when it transitions into a full height bed rack. Anyone got any pics for me?
Thanks. I was really wanting to figure out how to run 37s without making a ton of suspension modifications (high clearance fenders?) but I haven't found much in my digging through the forum articles. Maybe I should just stick with 35s or revisit the Rubicon. I just really prefer the Mojave...
I was 100% shopping JTs with the 3 pc hard top. But I recently installed a soft top on my wife's JLU. We were both really surprised at how quiet it is and how easy it is to use. I still like the look of the hardtop better on the JTs, but I'm definitely rethinking the soft top. We can...
