As many have said, a local Jeep club is a great place to start. They offer different organized rides from scenic drives to more advanced adventures. A good recovery class is very helpful and worth the membership alone.

I just installed a JCRoffroad winch plate to my Mopar factory steel bumper. It bolted right up and would work with most Warn or Smittybilt winches without issue; however the Superwinch SX 10 I went with is a little wider at the base and required some modification to the lip of the plate to fit.
Today I added a Factor 55 Prolink in gray to my Superwinch. It's definitely well engineered and a quality bit of kit. Much quieter than an old school hook. I will say it looks a little odd and sticks out farther than expected...looks like the jeep has a pacifier in its mouth. ???
Today I installed the Superwinch SX 10k with synthetic line. I normally build my jeeps with a Warn, but I really liked what I had seen with this new design from Superwinch. Or, maybe I'm just Warn out for this build. ?

I was just on jeep.com playing around with the "build your jeep" configurator and it still lets you price a 2021, and the 2022 config shows 8.4 standard on Rubicon.
