Why don’t you go to swapalease.com and pick up a lease with 10-14 months left on it and then turn it in. You can find some pretty good deals for relatively inexpensive monthly payments. If you like it, buy it at the end or just turn it in and start looking for a new one a month or two from the...
Nice! Thanks for the tips. I’ll definitely be making some day trips up that way in the spring once I get a gladiator in my garage!
Still in D1 as of yesterday...
It’s been the better part of a decade since I lived up that way... but on 181, you can pull off to hike to the upper Linville Falls. I would stop there regularly and go for the hike. Made for a nice swim but it’s probably too cold up that way now.
Well unlike the other guys, I’m in no rush! I’m actually out of the country until late December so I actually held off on ordering until it would be within 30 days of my return. Travis said October was the time so I bit the bullet. He said he could hold it for up to 30 days. I’m perfectly fine...
The reference to “overland” was because the person who posted it has the word “overland” in their screen name. Definitely looks like an LE Rubicon.

Mine's not due until late December... but I ordered M/T's and meant to get A/T's... not sure when yours is supposed to be completed. I'm in D status as of today.
Put in an order with TriCity a couple weeks ago and it was super transparent. I’m in Charlotte so it’s only a couple hours, if that, but 6% below invoice and Travis there was pretty upfront with any and all fees. They had been requiring $500 to order but are now requiring $1000, full disclosure...
It’s not Jersey, but I dropped a rental off and flew out of Miami the other day and Avis had a handful of Gladiators sitting in their rental fleet. All were sports with soft tops.
Unrelated, although the Jeep lease offers on their website are usually nowhere close to what you can actually get...
I don't know if the JT has it.... but in my TJ there was a fuse you could pull that would override the clutch-to-start and when you were mid trail you would just crank it up and go. No clutch pedal. Made it nice for a tough climb or obstacle where you just wanted to crank it up and start...
