This set up wouldn’t work that way but some of the kayak lifts you could fab up to do such a thing. This one you can mount like I did or a side mount but the pulleys have to be ceiling mounted and cables ran to the lift.
That’s the mopar soft roll up. I wanted one and was going to order the BeStop but this one popped up on marketplace and I’m happy with the purchase. Like that it locks, easy install and the price was good for buying “used”
I am happy with the Lange hoist a top. Should lift it high enough To be out of the way. I have the manual crank version but you can hook a power drill up to to speed it up. I have heard guys using a kayak hoist for storage but a little more research might be needed for a true long term...
I hear yeah, there is often someone looking to trade a soft top for a hard top. If you are into that, I am sure you won’t have any trouble. Sounds like a good list you have going for the truck!
And just think....it never ends! . I have the first phase of my build done and happy with it...but I think I am adding phases because there is always something else you didn’t know existed or needed and sure enough...it never ends!

The alpine and insane unit have Apple car play so Siri can respond via text. I know the insane has android platforms as well so it would have voice text. Not sure on the alpine.
You can just do the insane audio 9” upgrade and it has wireless car play/android auto not to mention millions of apps from the google play store...Netflix, YouTube etc...
