Man they weren't kidding with the JEEP stands for just empty every pocket. I just got it last Saturday and have already spent close to $3000 and still looking at probably another $3000 for tires, rims and soft top. Then eventually 2" Lift.

Need a second job just to pay for Jeep stuff.

And just think....it never ends! . I have the first phase of my build done and happy with it...but I think I am adding phases because there is always something else you didn’t know existed or needed and sure enough...it never ends!
Welcome to the club! It is a fun ride!

Yep just putting on essentials for what I am doing with the jeep at this time. Spray bed, rails, bed cover, All weather mats, looking at either some Rubi take off wheels or just new rims. Soft top was what I had not budgeted for since I was hoping to get it with the soft top but that didn't work out so now on the look out for if someone post one for sale. But the get scooped up quick

I hear yeah, there is often someone looking to trade a soft top for a hard top. If you are into that, I am sure you won’t have any trouble. Sounds like a good list you have going for the truck!

Not really any different than any vehicle performance hobby costs tho.

If you want a Mustang the vehicle can cost more and the mods just as much or more...

I normally keep my vehicles pretty stock (Viper, Coronet R/T and Mopar 11, but this vehicle has been crazy. I am not doing to many more add-ons for now, but i am thinking over the upcoming winter i will add some more items.

No Joke, First month of ownership I’ve spent $7000.
3.5in lift $1800, $1500 Warn Zeon 12-s, $1200 Bak Revolver x4 tonneau cover, Max Modular rack $1000, $800 worth of upgraded skid plates, another $1000 for miscellaneous items, Arb compressor, swing case, various recovery items.

Next and hopefully last large purchase will be wheels and tires.

Trying to see if I can find storage in my garage to keep both. I have some limited space on the ceiling I think I might be able to hook up a lift or something to store it up there

How do you like that swing case ? Is it the one that installs on the side of the back bed. I am looking at one of those to store all my kayak tie down gear and other kayak accessories along with the built right cargo management setup

I am happy with the Lange hoist a top. Should lift it high enough To be out of the way. I have the manual crank version but you can hook a power drill up to to speed it up. I have heard guys using a kayak hoist for storage but a little more research might be needed for a true long term solution. If I remember correctly, some of the fiber glass tops can warp if not stored correctly.

I love it, most of my recovery gear fits in them and if you need the full bed back they just lift out. Works with tonneau covers also. You can also lock them so they can’t be just lifted out if you don’t have a tonneau cover.
