On empty, how many more miles?

I try not to run it that low, but here is my experience. On my Gladiator; The light comes on with about 4 gal in the tank, meaning if I stop and fill up I'll be putting about 18 gal in. I suspect that you'd start having problems with less than 2 gal in the tank, so I'd say I probably had 2 gallons or 30-40 miles range until walking... and as others have said I try to keep above 1/4 tank to keep the fuel pump cool

How do we prime the 3.0? Where is the mechanical pump? In my dmax it was on top. I dont want to do this and bleed the injectors thats why i normally fill up under .5 tank if i can

I ran my Gladiator until the light came on and kept running until it showed 25 miles left. Then miles shut off. I filled the tank squeezing in as much fuel as possible. could not even get 18 gallons into the tank. So I assume I could have gone another 70 or 80 miles.

Don't assume. You could be asking for a ride to a gas station.

Had to drive roughly 30miles after the range displayed “low mi” to get to a gas station in the middle of nowhere. Then added $108.50 to the tank (20.87 gallons).

Needle was below the last E line on the analog gauge.

A couple times I've filled up right after the light came on and hit a little over 18 gallons to the first click. So I imagine it would go another 40 miles or so before getting low enough for it to be a problem.

My Ecodiesel went 15 miles after it said low fuel. Probably could have gone 20
