How many of you want a more efficient 4 cylinder powerplant for the gladiator?

4cyl? No thanks. I want a beefy V-8, with huge power. Bigger is better in the question of powerplants. Always. With a big V-8 I don’t have to juice it all the time, but I can. I’m not always towing, but I can. This is just another shiny new thing. I’ll pass

Just for sh*ts and giggles, I went onto the 'Build your Colorado' website and priced out a similarly equipped Colorado as my Overland. Can't get heated seats or remote start
☹ ☹ ☹

Anywho, priced it with the 2.7L Duramax turbo engine, 310 hp and 410 ft lbs of torque, and it came in around $41K.

The tow rating on these things with the Duramax? 7,700 lbs ???

They also put that engine in the full size Silverado/Sierra. I'm guessing that due to the increased weight of the full sized truck, the towing capacity is a little less (didn't check those websites).

I'm very happy with my Overland and it tows my 27' trailer very nicely.
