I bought some just like that....but the part that comes out was in the way. My leg was constantly touching it. (I''m tall and maybe that's why?)
I ended up buying a version that is flat all the way across but now there really isn't room to put anything there except maybe papers and I don't put papers there. lol
I'm liking that nylon versions the op posted up. Think I just might give those a try.

I just got these love the look. I’m 5’2 and when I pulled the seat up, couldn’t shut the door. They hit on the seat adjustment knob. Might try the cloth ones.

Thanks for the reminder. I've had the flat metal ones in since what, Jan? I haven't ONCE put anything in them. Just not enough room so I just ordered the nylon ones.
