Figured it out. The are edge protectors for the rear roof when it's removed.

?? Isn't there only 2 rubber pieces that go into the Freedom Panel storage bag?

I'm not quite sure. The JL's don't have that, and having a giant rubber block stuck to your hardtop looks ridiculous lol.
My bet is that it's either to stick between the two panels while in the bag to further prevent rubbing, or chalks to stop the storage bag from sliding around in the bed?
