So my freedom top bag zipper broke. I’ve only used this bag maybe 3 times at the most. Truck only has 1600 miles on it. At first I thought it could easily be fixed so I took it to my local tailor and they told me that it’s gonna be a lot to repair it and to call the dealer and see if they will give me another bag because this zipper is defective. Called the dealer service department although they were very nice about it they said it’s not something they would cover and I would have to buy a new bag. I said the bag is only 3 months old and shoud have some sort of warranty on it. They than said to bring the bag by they wanna take pictures and submit them to Jeep and see if they will cover it. Sounds like they wanna help me out but at the same time they may just be saying that to get me
Off the phone. The dealer is an hour away I don’t wanna waste my time jumping through hoops and they just deny the claim. Has this happened to anybody and if so did you just buy another bag or get a replacement through the dealer?
