Is it true you can't order this color anymore?
I'm finally in a position financially where I'm able to order a Nacho Majove and will be upset if I missed my chance! There's one at a dealer near me listed for $68k, however it has every option, which I don't need, and the way I want mine...
I've never had any problems with mine, however I would check to make sure your locking tabs on the freedom panel isn't interfering with the panel being fully seating in the foam.
Yeah this is highly suspicious. A brand new account making all their posts in a year old thread defending a product. Makes me think it's actually somebody at Prodigy, and if so I just lost even more respect for the company.
The orange accents, and the fact that Punk'n was used in all the advertising, makes me believe that Jeep pulled Punk'n and are going to make it a Mojave specific color when it launches in Q2
Their bro personalities are actually just that, a fake personality they put on for Youtube to appeal to the automotive bro crowd. They're actually Ukrainian immigrants (or the children of immigrants) and "Billy" is just a redneck personality they put on and not his real name.
I'm not hating on...
I still see a difference in camping and overlanding. There's definitely overlap, but I think people like to say they're overlanding now because it sounds "cooler".
To me camping is short term, a weekend or week long trip, that's spent mostly in one spot, and doesn't always require a vehicle to...
I would have liked it better.
Jeep always plays it too safe with their special edition models. Give me a limited edition with IFS. Give me a limited edition with a hemi. Give me a limited edition with 2 doors. Make it actually LOOK and PERFORM like a limited edition.
95% of the special...
Has anybody seen Jeep's recent post on Instagram? It's a video of what appears to be the J6 blasting through a sand dune before the words "The Evolution of Capability. Chicago Auto Show Feb 6" pop up on the screen. The small print on the bottom says "coming soon".
Could this be the announcement...
I would absolutely buy one of these as a fun around town/weekend trail ride. If Jeep never produces it I've already thought about how difficult it would be for a shop to fab up once used Gladiators/JLUs start popping up more often. I've come up with the following:
1. Get a Gladiator and chop it...
For a Sport I think 3.5in lift and 35s looks great and is what I plan to do once I get mine. I currently have a 2.5in lift and 35s on my JLU and want a little more. Was never a fan of the stuffed look or having a super wide stance you get with the offset needed for going up to 37s or 13.5in wide...
Based on all these option changes for the JT Sport, and looking at how the 2 door JL is only offered in Sport and Rubicon trims, I think this might be a hinting at Jeep phasing out Sahara/Overland over the next few years.
My "tricked out" potential Sport build (auto, hard top, 7in screen, max...
Like ColoradoGlad said the grille is different, however you can buy black inserts for the Sport grille on Amazon for about $60. I have them on my JL. They stick with 3m tape and you can't tell the difference. Have had them on for over a year with no issues so far.
For anyone else that was curious, it's $68,000 for a Sport S with a lift and some cosmetic mods. MSRP was $45,660.
Looks cool and I appreciate the work you guys put in, but I would hate to be the guy who gets suckered in to paying that.
The fenders are different, but only because the Rubicon fenders are already wider than the standard Sport fenders which is why the added lip on Sport max tow fenders is there.
According to the November order guide the sport comes standard with “Accent Color Fender Flares”, the Overland comes...
The max tow package has the same axles as the Rubicon, and you can option color matched fenders on a Rubicon. I'd assume it'd be allowed on a Sport, but we'll see when I put my order in soon!
