I'd even settle for a similar conversion kit as the JKUte, but for the JLU, just to have SOMETHING like a J6. My main issue with this kit (other than the bed being tiny) is that there is no full body separation between the "cab" and "bed" to make it look like a normal truck. They just fill in...
The J6 is my dream and I hope they make it one day. I remember reading that it's actually based on the JLU frame, not the JT frame, which means it probably wouldn't be too hard to Frankenstein your own J6 together if you find the right shop.
Where did you buy the Mopar LED headlights from? When I first got my JLU in Feb 2018 people were livid that you couldn't buy the LEDs direct from Mopar after the fact,. The release date kept getting pushed back so far that I honestly forgot about it and stopped checking the vender sites.
Bahahahaha 81 Gladiators on the lot and they all look like bare bones Sport models. Only red and white. Good luck to the poor soul at that dealer who fucked up an order.
What's your overall height with the 3.5in lift and 37s? I really want to do this, but my work parking garage is only 78in and I'm worried it would be too tall.
If you can afford the dual top option and have a place to keep your hardtop during the summer that's your best of both worlds scenario. I'll always prefer the hard top, as I rarely remove the rear portion anyway and like the added security factor.
Is it needless if he's making money off it?
If you watch the video he says he was going to upgrade it anyway. So either upgrade it during the engine swap and not mention it, or make a video breaking it before you replace it. The man's an entertainer and making at least $10k per video, so this...
If you're looking at a Gladiator that was modified by SoFlo Jeeps (just guessing based on your location) run far far away. They take a base Sport and toss on the most gaudy mods they can find, then charge $30k over MSRP.
Realistically you're going to over pay if you're buying a dealer modified...
Like others said, he knows what he's doing. Maybe it's because I'm the same age as him, but I actually really enjoy his content and don't find him annoying at all. Haters gonna hate but he just seems like a guy who is doing what he loves and happens to be able to make a full time living off it...
I plan to order one but I'm constantly intrigued by this color as it changes so much with the lighting. On every punk'n JL I've seen it looks bright metallic orange, but on the JT so far it seems like a flat muted orange.
If it's anything like the JLU's I agree with this. The anticipated ship date my dealer gave me for my JLU was actually the build date. Got it about two weeks later.
Looks like the Mopar performance rock rail. They make them for the JL but I'm not sure if they're out for the JT yet.

Not JT, but for my JLU I put down a $500 refundable deposit which went towards my down payment when the Jeep came in. Either your salesman is inexperienced or trying to pull a fast one. I'd go somewhere else.
The Overland already comes with side steps, but on the Sport S it's an option to add. Only Rubicon's can be ordered with the factory steel bumper, however I think they are currently delayed at the factory which is why the salesman probably didn't see the option.
