Yes. Skid plate off. That single bolt comes out and reinstalled once plow mount is on. On my mount there are two bumper nuts on each side that are used also. There are two bolts with nuts that are also inserted through the piece you have in the photo also.
kind of confusing but I hope this...
Very good info, thanks. Yes I charged my aux battery before install. I probably don’t drive long enough on most days. Usually around town doing side jobs and errands. Not a lot of long drives out of town until vacation times.
It’s just strange to me that I can go out in my garage right now and...
When I reset the IBS it work great for about two weeks. Then I get the “aux switches unavailable while charging “ every time I start my Jeep.
2020 with the original main battery.
I find myself needing to reset my IBS sensor frequently. I replaced the aux battery about a year ago.
Was wondering if anyone has bypassed the IBS sensor?
What would happen if it was deleted in the system?
I don’t mind the ESS setup. Just hate that the IBS keeps my aux battery from charging...
I feel your pain. My Rubicon had the “ticking” noise at 63,xxx miles. I took it to two different dealerships who told me it was a lower motor knock and that I would have to replace the motor at the price tag of over $12,000. FCA was a joke to deal with and dragged their feet helping me. I...
I would:
Double check your “toe” alignment
Play around with tire psi
Rebalance tires
Make sure all your draglink, tie rod, ball joints and trac bar joints are tight and to spec.
This has happened to me twice. First time I was driving on a curve and felt like my steering locked up for about 2 seconds then came back.
The second time I was driving with my plow and while driving I repositioned the plow blade and had the same loss off power steering feel. The power...
Got the jeep all put back together this morning.
On start up, at first I could hear a pretty good knock. After letting the motor settle in and the oil pressurize the noise subsided and she’s running nice and smooth right now. I drove the jeep for a little bit and just finished an oil change...
I would say that my RPMs stay below 3000 for the majority of the time. I’ve been to Moab, Colorado, Kentucky off-roading but I’m by no means a “hardcore” off-roader. I don’t really haul anything constantly. A boat every now and then but not much.
I am running 35’s (11.50)
Weight is close to...
Well this morning I decided to open up the passenger side valve cover which is the side I thought was making all the noise. I found a worn down intake rocker and a bad lobe on the camshaft.
hopefully this is the only cause for my “ticking”.
I’m going to replace all the intake rockers and...
