New uconnect 8.4 question, phone via bluetooth.
Diving at 75 on a call via bluetooth person said the noise is unbearable, and i could barely understand them.
Don't move the phone but out it on speaker phone and much better and tolerable.

That is the challenge with these sensor systems, the variance sensor to sensor, how they are installed, what happens in different reflective environments, how the interpret different driving styles.
For example the Volvo i mentioned would do it on the highway in the right lane approaching a...
We sold a brand new Volvo XC60 plug in hybrid last year for the same reason, over zealous safety algorithms. You couldn't disable them, we traded for another Audi a SQ5 who's implementation is almost flawless. The same was true with my A6, it was a pleasure in stop and go traffic, I didn't have...
Repeatedly running a pump dry will damage it, can't imagine any designer not planning for it to happen on some level.
The other item i forgot to add to the observations is that Jeeps in particular expect to be in odd angles pitch and roll, so i would expect even more conservatism in the empty...
Two observations:
1) the low fuel must estimate off of a short term average not a long term average as some have highlighted. Failure to do this overstates range and probability of running dry.
2) fill amount depends on several things, the temperature, the tank angle, the pump sensitive to fumes...
That's interesting, I would think the pumps would be pulling slower in cold temps, it always feels this way in winter when I lived in NH. Maybe the station just topped off their tanks and the pressure is at the highest?
I would suggest we start posting meaningful and consistent data.
Temperature
Handle lock or being held by your hand
Pump type the wide vapor catching type or old school this steel tube
Number of gallons being added or how empty the truck was
What else would or could matter?
I had one time, today when I put it in reverse the video was not sync'ed. wavy lines through the image. Shifting to park and back did not help.
Best stop after turning off then back on, all was fine.
