Jeep won't announce anything official until the last minute to keep from cannibalizing sales of what they have on the lot. We might get inside info here or other places before then, but I wouldn't count on it.
Nope, Jeep is fickle and will have 3 special colors one month and then cancel 2 of them the next month. So some years colors can only be ordered for 30 days. The colors come and go with the monthly order guide. The order guide for May might add Gecko and keep Sarge, or Sarge could disappear and...
You're checking at the wrong time of year unfortunately. At the start of the model year (July/August time frame) Jeep will normally show all of the colors available for that model year. Not all of them are available for all months of the model year, but you atleast know what should be coming...
I’ve had a twill soft top JKU and JLU and just can’t imagine a hard top Jeep.
My only concern is keeping the back window from getting scratched or cut when things shift in the bed or you get a load of mulch dumped in the bed.
It’ll be worth replacing every few years for the convenience but I’m...
Has anyone actually got a build sheet or window sticker from cryptostickers on page 1 lately?
I'm not convinced the system is still consistently working.
Manual Wranglers have been this way since atleast the JK starting in 2006. Nothing new to scare people off manuals.
You sit upright in a Jeep, like sitting in a dining chair with your feet flat on the floor, not stretched out like a recliner the way many cars are.
I got used to it quickly, most...
I’ve always heard it’s because of Canadian privacy laws. Some lawyer interpretation probably shut it down years ago.
I would be willing to bet Jeep chat is fine helping Canadians for the other topics they support like vehicle features etc.
Anyone have actual pictures of the Husky in their gladiator? I liked the soft rubber underfoot feel of my Husky JKU liners, but the Smartliners I had in my JLU provided much better vertical coverage around the edges of the mat. The smart liners are a firm plastic like the weather tech.
I had...
I was able to get my VIN from the chat by providing the VON. I think some chat employees want the VON and VIN before they’ll discuss the order, but if you get the right one they can definitely do it.
I sure hope there is a way to disable auto updates. While it’s under warranty, no big deal, but what happens in 5 years when something FCA does bricks your radio and you’re stuck paying for it out of pocket?
That’s no different than a FCA mechanic coming to my garage and breaking something but...
Build sheet is a product of the information in the first post of this thread. It has a list of the equipment that goes into building your vehicle. Click the "Found" blue links at the top here to see an example build sheet and window sticker. This is from my 2019 JLU...
I don't want to be a downer, but when I bought my 2019 JLU from Travis at Tri-City it took 11 days from the time it left Toledo on the train car until it was unloaded at Tri-City. That was before our current crazy logistics mess the world is in right now.
I hope it makes it in time for you...
I've ordered a JKU, JLU and JT and had my VON within 24 hours each time. This is in the US and I know some things are different in Canada, but I would want a good explanation from my dealer why I didn't have a VON.
Are they not replying to you, or telling you its not created yet, or telling you...
While I do sympathize and agree it could be smoother, it could also be like other manufacturers that you are stuck with whatever configuration the dealer gets allocated instead of building your own. Or like Toyota where you’re stuck with whatever Toyota sends and the “regional” Toyota importer...
I think he's referencing the global "chip" (integrated circuit) shortage that is affecting a lot of industries. The reason your Jeep when it shows up will probably only come with one key and an IOU for another one later.
Does anyone use this or another roll up cover with a soft top? I feel like the rolled tonneau might rub and scratch the plastic soft top rear window.
I had a roll up on my Tacoma and much prefer it to a trifold, but my rolled up Tacoma cover rested against the rear window which seems like a...
Thanks for the info, I'll be curious to see how long it takes to go from paint to ready to ship with the stop off for the bedliner in between. I'm trying not to bother Travis at Tri-City too much..
