  1. Bestop sunrider not flush

If there is no water or air leak I would not worry about it. If you want to adjust the clamp force, there are two Torx screws you can loosen to move the latch receiver. Just a FYI, moving this also affects the fit of the Freedom panel, so you might decide to move them back later. It's easy...
  2. The "Watch this thread" checkbox is not working for me.

Just a minor problem--the "Watch this thread" button seems to be stuck in the "on" position. I click it and it goes away, but automatically goes back to the checked-on position. Any ideas?
  3. GM Is Moving Away From Apple and Android Phone Projection

Lack of CarPlay would really bug me. When we head out on a trip, I can plan locations on my office computer, and they show up on my iPhone right away. Not to mention my music, XM radio, messages, etc which all rely on CarPlay. Just jump in the Jeep (or our Ford) and CarPlay is ready to go.
  4. 2026 Jeep Gladiator Order Guide Released

Wow, nothing like Sarge or 41 green either. My dream Jeep color, since I was a kid, has been a shade of tan. Bring back Gobi and I might consider a trade . . . EDIT: They do have 41 again. My mistake. Still want Gobi!!
  5. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Getting ready for another cold, salty winter here in MN. Pressure washed the bottom, let it dry, and then Woolwaxed again. Have to admit, it looks pretty good underneath (other than the dust stuck to last year's Woolwax).
  6. Clicking noise associated with blend door actuator movement

PS: I have a 50" red "straw" that fits lubricant cans. So temping to thread it down a couple vents until it hits a blend door and give it a shot of silicone . . .
  7. Clicking noise associated with blend door actuator movement

I really doubt it will quit working, and will probably not get worse. Out of warranty, anything that requires dash removal will be really expensive, as they budget a day or more labor for the project. Plus, like you, I really don't want them taking apart the dash . . .
  8. Clicking noise associated with blend door actuator movement

Hi! Yes it was covered. [Long story, but I am not completely sure they actually did the repair listed.] First thing to try is blend door replacement. They can do this in a couple hours and only one panel below the steering wheel or the glove box needs to be removed. In my case this did not...
  9. New joose Mojave

Lucky find! Joose jeeps sell really fast. Congrats!
  10. HVAC system woes

How is your dash holding up to the work? My dealer kind of scared me off a bit. Was your second click episode constant or occasional? I am also a member of the clicking HVAC club, but it's so intermittent I am still deciding if I should have it fixed. I have a copy of the service manual...
  11. Grill Conversion, but Not Angry

    Looks kind of familiar!
  12. Touchup paints for steel bumper compared

The fact that the spray paint is textured helps a lot too. My scuff was flat enough that I did not do any sanding, and by the third light coat the scratches were largely covered. Sanding would probably have made this even better, however.
  13. Oil Funnel

Might depend on the year of your Gladiator too. Tried a couple that said they would work on my 2024 and they did not. At least Amazon has a great return policy. PS: Really like threaded funnels. Have one for my Ford van and Chevy.
  14. 🛠️ What's the Best Interior Upgrade You've Made?

Not many changes here . . . The Hothead Headliner for Sunrider has been a nice upgrade for looks and less noise. One of my favorite upgrades was actually free--I took out the middle headrest in the back seat.
  15. $1,350 battery replacement?

Looking at the invoice, I was not surprised at the labor--seemed kind of reasonable. But the part prices seemed a little, for lack of a better word, crazy. I know there is typically a large markup, but really!
  16. New Gladiator, what to do?

I have made several mods since purchase. But the first thing I did was have Xpel applied; partial hood, fenders and grill surround. Hate rock chips and winter here is pretty tough. My favorite free mod was taking off that third (middle) headrest in the back!
  17. Jurassic World Jeep Badge of Honor Now Available

Just hit ebay too. $149 and up!!
  18. Mopar Ducks.

Minnesota is a pretty rich in ducks (real and rubber). I think it's kind of cool and my wife gets a kick out of leaving one once in a while. But we only leave one if the Jeep already has some. Only have 4 so far-one from my wife, one from my daughter (who has a Wrangler) and two from other...
  19. Retractable Ratchet Straps

Another convert here. I have a few sizes of Strapinno brand, as it's the first one I heard of. I was just about to quit using ratchets out of the frustration of having the straps twist while tightening. Retractibles are great! I keep one hooked up in the back of the bed to control gas cans...
  20. 2026 Exterior Colors (per JL)

Happy with my Sarge, but if I wanted wild Joose would have been it. This is my first Jeep--but I have been eyeing them for years. My personal favorite color going back a lot of years would have been one of the versions of tan. Not sure what they would have called it, but the newer Gobi is...
