Had the same issue on the edges of the hood of my JTR. The aluminum is treated with anti-corrosion at the factory prior to painting. There have been other threads about this problem, so clearly there are some quality control issues with the treatment process, typically along panel edges.

Two things I am fairly certain of ... none of us were there, and there are two sides to every story. But if your description of HOW you asked the question is accurate - "Why would you park so close to me when there are a bunch of open spots to your left?" - it doesn't get much more...
since i can't always suppress a mild superstitious streak, i won't jinx myself by telling you that my 2020 jtr has seen half a dozen rocky trail rides, a couple weeks on the beach, and a bunch of road miles with nothing more than oil changes and tire rotations...
wait, sh!t.
Good question. It is a rust inhibitor/preventer. I treated my undercarriage upon delivery and did not have any corrosion prior to application. Recommend removing any surface rust before treating.
I don't think I saw it mentioned, so I'll throw it out there. I'm a fan of crc 6026. I treat everything under the vehicle that doesn't get hot.

It dries to an almost rubbery feel and will last up to two years...
I went with the Anvil Overland mounting system.

I pieced together a diy 4-tire inflate/deflate air hose system. I considered installing the lines on board with quick connects at each wheel well. But the external hose allows me to share it with others and still connect it to a future onboard compressor.
Made plenty of friends loaning this...
same here, but it's because of my ocd. stopping on a whole dollar is optimal. on the half dollar is ok. one or three quarters is acceptable, but i'm a little twitchy afterwards. god forbid i overshoot the whole dollar by a penny!
I was taught the 8/4 method when training for 3rd world driving. Allows you to quickly "pass" the steering wheel from one hand to the other during turns without crossing, and gives you the most range of motion in an evasive maneuver while being able to keep at least one hand on the wheel. And of...
manufactured sound, anybody? a lot of focus is on giving sound to electric vehicles so you don't get run over by one when you don't hear it coming. but they also have an "entertainment" category which can provide a variety of engine sounds to "enhance the driving experience."...
like a few others who have chimed in, i run falken m/t's. one of the quieter m/t's i've experienced. everyone who has ridden with me comments on the minimal road noise. not sure how well they will hold up with all the road miles i cover, but i've been happy with them on the trails.
yep, and my kids absolutely love it. every time we go, they say we have brought the jeep back to its natural habitat. they still have a few years before they can get behind the wheel, and they are not happy about it.
Definitely a Hokies fan. I have several really good friends who went to Tech. They bleed maroon and orange. And the color combo makes its way onto everything ... vehicles, boats, fishing rods, the family dog...
I went with a pair of scooter mirrors from autozone for $15 as a quick fix until I decided on something permanent. Fit perfect in place of a cowl screw. A little small but they stay tight with hardly any vibration, so I never bought anything else.
