I figure after my surgery in about six weeks I’ll have plenty of time (3-4 months at least) to do homework on my axles. I’ve already studied three of them pretty well and have not came to any kind of decision yet because all three of them have pros and cons.
Thank you! Daily 4 day a week driver. I hit the sand dunes recently one time for a mild test. Don’t want to break an axle way out in the middle of the dunes. Double knee replacement surgery in six weeks and then recovery time and hoping I get to install my new axle’s by the end of the year...
Tool & Die…. Yes. But I have limited time per day or per week to work on my projects….. I’m in Hawthorne. Right next to El Segundo and Manhattan Beach. I know exactly where you live, a friend of mine lives over there. Also, the last Friday of the month in Long Beach is a event where there is 75...
I’m actually a Tool and Die maker (43 years now) and I do trig almost every day so I perfectly understand what you’re saying…. Evo is about 15 minutes away from me and Rebel is about 45 minutes away from me. Convenient. I’ve been at Rebel’s shop over 30 times the last couple of years and about...
I have heard claims of B.S. On Rebel 12” and Evo 14” stats. It really doesn’t affect me so I wasn’t too concerned about it. My wife’s wrangler is the one doing the heavy flexing. I installed long arms on her 2022 also. Her Jeep is the one you can say we take really off roading. I built my...
About 8 years ago and further back they would not. For the last six years or so to me, it seems like there is 50% of the cops out there on the highways and then the city then there was eight years ago. It seems like nowadays for the last 6 to 8 years they kind of gave up on the little stuff...
Thank you…….. but it wasn’t exactly easy, but I did it! I think I watched about 10 videos on how to mount your tires on bead locks yourself and my son and I have done it on both of our jeeps now…. That was another adventure.
Thank you. Believe it or not it does get dirty. I’ve always appreciated my detailer. He make’s all of my vehicles look like mall crawlers :) Wife’s Wrangler…..
Thank you. Yes, I have installed all of it….. I’ve installed two long arms kit’s now, not that hard at all…… a shop will do the final alignment, which won’t happened till the end of the year after the axles……
Yes, I’ve had a few Rubicon’s now and I always seem to be having problem’s with the solenoid on there and I know Evo makes a disconnect, but I still like to have a little sway bar while doing/going mild+ off roading.
