  1. thinking abt getting a '22 diesel rubicon gladiator

Well it's been rampant on Ram, Wrangler, and Gladiator forums. And I've had two, both of which leaked. And when I asked my dealer about it last week they immediately said "we've already done several" and "we'll put you on the list and call you, there are four or five in front of you." I'd say...
  2. Which Badge of Honor trails can I do on a stock JTRD

The trails at Turkey Bay OHV area are 100% perfect for what you're describing. From Gupton, you can hit I-24 west to the Land Between the Lakes in about an hour or a little more. Turkey Bay has several trails that are perfect for stock Jeeps that don't want paint damage. There's even a trail...
  3. MBRP Filter Back Exhaust

The resonator and muffler are both straight through designs, i.e. you can hold it up in the sunlight and see through the other end. They are very unrestrictive designs actually. I was quite surprised. There are chambers, but it's not like a Flowmaster muffler where it's very restrictive and...
  4. aFe Intake Diesel

I plan to run without it anyhow because unless you're hitting rivers at 35 MPH it's totally unnecessary and it only inhibits airflow. Plus, when I took the rubber seal off my factory intake my IATs decreased which clearly means it's pulling in fresher air now.
  5. aFe Intake Diesel

It's on a FedEx truck that supposedly left California a long time ago. Today was the scheduled delivery date....surprise surprise it didn't show up. Typical for FedUp. Maybe tomorrow. Or the next day. Or...
  6. Gorilla Glass. Yes or No?

I'm on my sixth "real" Jeep. YJ, JKU, JKU, JLU, JT, and now another JT. Untold number of combined miles on and off road. Not one single chip, crack, or split on any windshield, ever. Six Jeeps, six windshields. I'll add that there's a rock quarry on my road with dump trucks pulling out onto...
  7. GDE is back and making EPA compliant tune!

They are telling me November 20th is the tentative date for this thing to officially go on sale. Right now they are only doing the soft launch of course for anybody who's willing to drive to Michigan. I nearly took the drive, but decided to wait until I have a stock PCM as a backup first. My...
  8. GDE is back and making EPA compliant tune!

I'm working on that project right now. Because of widespread staffing shortages at all shops in our region, it's taking time. But I'm hoping to have a solid answer on whether this is possible or not by the end of next week at the latest.
  9. HYDRO BLUE PEARL Gladiator JT Club

Before in Overland clothing, and after in my attempt at my own Willys appearance. Honestly in hindsight both looks are great.
  10. GDE is back and making EPA compliant tune!

Was it $1,100 for engine and trans both, or did they charge extra for the trans tuning?
  11. EARL GREY Gladiator JT club

Mark Allen said back in the summer that this color was the next one they were going to do, and here it is! I really love it. For some reason it makes me think of the surface of the moon. If it had been available in May I would have strongly considered it. It's still no replacement for Anvil...
  12. thinking abt getting a '22 diesel rubicon gladiator

Before you leave the dealership with it, have them take the timing cover off and reseal it properly. Otherwise you'll be back to the dealership before the first oil change doing it. Other than the shitty build quality and the terrible $10,000 Bosch CP4 grenade they try to pass off as a fuel...
  13. TPMS reset

I actually did that before placing my order and it very quickly came up as a 2020 Wrangler listing. Actuality found some 3rd party vendors who list that part number for the sensors on all 2020 and 2021 up until the June cut off.
  14. I might have found the full 2022 Gladiator color list!!!

So, no substantial changes at all. 2023 will be the year worth waiting for. All new interior console and other big updates.
  15. TPMS reset

So I went ahead and ordered a set of the Schrader 29093 (matching the Mopar part # I listed above) because I'm thinking they should work for JL/JT built before that 6-7-21 deadline and they are $60 less for a set. Probably the other part numbers listed above are Mopar numbers because they don't...
  16. What Jeep should have done with the rear window

You're right, and Wrangler hard tops get cracked and broken all the time. I wouldn't even take mine off because on my old YJ I ended up having to do fiberglass repair on the rear bottom corners.
  17. TPMS reset

What's wild is that Rock Auto lists a third (684023071AA) part number that doesn't match either of these, and they show it "to 5/2021" with no exact date in May that the switch happened. This kind of has me over a barrel because mine was built 5/27/2021 and I need a set of sensors.
  18. EcoDiesel Block Heater Plug

From what I understand, starting with August 2021 builds and moving forward the EcoDiesel engines will not get the engine block heater as standard equipment. You'll have to order the Cold Weather package in order to get the heater included on the Rams, or order the heater as a standalone option...
  19. The hardest vehicle to hand wash - ever!

Funny you say this because I've had a LOT of full size trucks and I can hand wash my Gladiator in half the time. I LOVE washing this truck because it goes so fast. Much less area to cover.
  20. What Jeep should have done with the rear window

Looks like you guys already got it all covered. Jeep wouldn't do an electric roll down rear glass because: - It would sacrifice large amounts of space behind the second row, in an already very cramped area of the truck. - It would possibly cause issues since tolerances would need to be...
