Resurrecting this one from the dead! Made it about 5 minutes from my house and I was like, why can I not see anything?!? Anyone make a heating element only? or any treatments that are known to work? I'll probably just get some bar mounted forward lights for that kind of weather.
once you remove the perforated carpet and the rubber drain plug underneath, the mat will 'snap' into the drain hole and you can put the drain plug directly on your floor mat.
I wouldn't call that 'exposed' if it's on the backside of a steel bumper. seems pretty protected from damage. Like others said, mud is your biggest concern, and not really much of one.
Ugh, tracing and troubleshooting wiring like this is a pita. I agree it's hard to screw up that installation it's just a couple plug connectors. The center of the dial is a button, I think the install had you put the button on? maybe not fully seated?
Otherwise, yeah sounds like the module.
ok here's how I got an extra rim, super easy.
smash up the gladiator on a snowy trail
take it to a body shop to get everything fixed up, ($1000 deductible)
make sure they paint the rim gloss instead of low-gloss
when the low-gloss wheel shows up, wait 4 months to pick it up
