Took off the hard top and my *this thingy* came off. Looks like it was soldered on originally. I've never successfully repaired one of these, anyone have a good fix?

I went with the factory switches and have never once second guessed that decision.

go for the Falken Wildpeaks like what came on the Mojave. absolutely LOVE them.

I clean mine with warm water and the shop vac, no matter what gets in there and where, it's coming out. highly recommend. I have small kids so I get A LOT of shit stuffed in those cup holders. my favorite was the Sprite-goldfish cracker soup. highly recommend as well.

well I got around to lifting each wheel one at a time and I could not recreate the sound. none of them had side to side or up/down wobble. I guess I'll just wait until it gets louder? Although I'm at 66000 on the original brake pads so maybe...

That is actually the 'duck' sensor system my brother helped design. It detects if you have too many ducks (can't remember if it's 5 or 10) on the dash and initiates a self destruct sequence.

bump to top, I'm having the same issue. pretty sure it's coming from the front but I can't tell which side. Does that FAD bearing make the same squeak noise?

Fuses aren't necessarily designed to blow immediately. when there is a massive over-current draw they will blow very quickly but as you get closer to the fuse rating, the blow time takes will be longer. Here's an image of the blow curve for a 13amp and 3 amp fuse. Note that the higher the fault...
