Thanks for your post, informative...So unfortunate these Awsome Trucks have these issue NOOB...
On mine, unless the indicator starts blinking, or I get some other symptom which might be related I am going to wait 20-40 miles. I found a number of dealerships which have posted about this...
Thanks for your post, I am very familiar with the concept of an engine warning light, I get them on my STS from time to time and they go away on their own after some driving.
The difference is my STS is 20 years old so these "events" are not very remarkable...On the other hand, my Jeep is less...
Yea, you forgot the first thing the manual mention as a likely cause "Bad Gas", it was 1 of only 2 they mention so they must think it is a high likelihood. It is also something that effects people too and something you may want to get checked for after your 2 posts in this thread. -LOL!
Good grief, you have to learn to stop taking every little comment about a shortcoming in the Jeep manual, the jeep design, the jeep service, as a personal offense.
It was a simple question that needed only a simple answer, not a preaching session.
I asked for folks to share their experience as...
Hello folks, I had a great day at the beach with Mojave (2022, 1275mi) today, but sometime while I was there mostly driving in 4H with Off Road plus on (not sure this has anything to do with it or not I was on the beach in July and NP with the light), the light triggered (meaning it is staying...
You can do a heck of a lot more with either as stock vehicles, well beyond "light" off roading...I don't have a ruby, but my MO is a very capable off road machine stock, very capable. The only time I feel at a disadvantage against my mates in the Jeep club with pumped up/modified Wrangler...
In most cases with any automatic car/truck if you are kinda cruising along at a constant speed but want quick accelerations to pass or just speed up faster than your current gear allows, tap the gas peddle down quickly and it will shift to a lower gear getting more RPM and put you in the...
Lots of issues and challenges in life, but loosing 3 free oil changes is not one of them (for me :-))...But thanks for the heads up it is good to know.
I also have 2 siblings who live in Tampa, one for 50 years and one for 2 years...They never complain about crime (of course crime levels are mostly/not always neighborhood dependent).
Sad all around you should be able to own a nice car without constant threat of theft...
The Jeeps are a...
Great Vid, Hero-Kid and Brave too...Thanks for posting...Given it was Florida surprised the women wasn't armed...Although I don't know FLA exact laws, but in most states you can not use deadly force (just) because you are being robbed without meeting other criteria. But in this instants she had...
Now that is the first Bronco I've seen that I might be interested in...Has to be street legal for me though...And I'd have to see the specs and do a LOT of "soul' searching before I pony up $200K...Even better, I'd love to see a Mojave race version by Jeep.
Me and my Lady friend at that time drove that road ca. 2005. Being tourists we were in a rental although I don't remember what kind of car...Honestly, I didn't feel very comfortable driving it and was extremely careful. The Lady friend is still a friend of a different kind now so I'll have to...
Sorry to hear this, hopefully they will make it right for you without too much aggravation, stress, and certainly without you having to pay a lawyer...Totally sucks, shit happens, keep us updated so we can see if this shit was caused by a manufactures defect (as they claim it was the filter; or...
If it didn't have the Jeep Logo on it I would have thought it was a fancy Ford Bronco...They should have (at least) made the front end look like a "Jeep"...The color is nice, but otherwise another uninspiring pseudo-4-wheeler (and probably with an astronomical price).
Thanks for the additional tips Nacho, yep agree always a respectable and enjoyable debate with you Sir...
I'm going to try the easy approach first but if the dealer will not do it this will be a great resource.
Anyone know if the dealers will do the taser deal on being asked as such?
Never mind I see Nacho answered this previously, well, next oil change I'll ask them.
As much as I love my MO, these things are shamefully unsecure...Really no excuse for it. Only Hubris on the part of the manufacturer because they have a captive audience (they are kinda addictive :-))...I keep mine in the Garage every night luckily and only use her for a pleasure craft (for now)...
