I've been using my JKU spiderwebshade on my JT for over 6 months. Works great, except that you can't latch the rear latches on the freedom tops. Hasn't been a problem. All others are latched and there are no leaks.
Every time I buy a new Jeep, I think I've finally bought the perfect one to build and keep forever. A proper V8 offering would be the next one to change my mind and make me start over again.
Agreed. This reeks of the same "implied but not delivered" approach we bought into with the LE debacle. Not a deal-breaker feature in my mind, but still not right that it was promoted then not delivered. Hell, I'd even be willing to pay for new TPMS sensors if needed. Just roll out a free...
As the father of a handicapped young man, I couldn't possibly love this any more. So glad your disability hasn't kept you from doing what you love. Can't wait to see the accessibility modifications you make. Jeep on!
What part of OK are you seeing several on the streets? So far, I only know of 1 other in the OKC metro. For whatever reason, they've been slow to hit the lots here.
Got my hands on this one Tuesday. Had a LE ordered and it'll be here in the next couple weeks, but decided this one was a better fit for me, so if you want a Black LE, I know where you can snag it.
I also threw together a quick little video comparison of the JKURHR & the JTR:
Agreed. I've been warming up to it also, but if it doesn't fold down any flatter than what we're seeing here, I'm out. No interest in cruising with a parachute up top. Looks ridiculous and I can't imagine the fabric will last long with that kind of wind drag.
