Way back, wife was hit from behind while driving the Tacoma. Insurance looked at it and asked if I wanted it totaled or not. I was about $8000 under water in the the thing and had GAP insurance so I shed a happy tear and told him total it.
I've got two of them laying on the floor. Haven't got down on my hands and knees to figure out where they go. Maybe to plug the end of the seat rail? I'll figure it out in the spring, lol.
I kept the smartliner I had in my first Gladiator without spray in bedliner. Tossed in in the bed of the new truck with the spray in. Fits fine. Stuff doesn't slide around. Certainly wasn't going to give it to the dealer with the trade in.
I went from the Falcon MT's to the AT's. Not so much due to noise, they are louder, but more so because of how rough the MT's were. Seems like I could feel the knobbies. Couldn't get used to it.
I'd be all over it. The only other vehicle I considered was a JL 2 door Wrangler Rubicon but coming out of a Tacoma, I really wanted a pickup bed rather than pulling around a little utility trailer for my weekend warrior chores.
I traded in my 17 Taco for my first Gladiator. 17000 miles between my two Gladiators and have zero regrets. Get a Rubi, Mojave or Max Tow for the 4:10's and you are good for 35's. You can buy a lot of gas for $4000.00. You'd be happy with the gasser or diesel. Either way, more smiles to the...
They must be trying to get back their losses instead of cutting their losses. My Mojave sat on the lot for 4 months and I got 4k of sticker and they gave me over sticker for my sport s trade. At the time they had 3 mojaves and a few others.
