The speed limit on the interstate where I live is 80 mph. If I drove 65 mph I would create a traffic hazard, as well as take all day to get anywhere. At the speed limit here our JTM only gets 14 mpg, which is the same gas mileage our JLUR 392 gets at that speed. So, congrats on the great gas...
I'm surprised no one else has mentioned the Rockslide Engineering step sliders. We have them on both our JLUR and our JTM. On the JLUR I got the optional additional skid plates, and they are super tough. I have used them to pivot off of more times than I can count, and other than the powder...
I don't know the story of the Jeep going off Gemini Bridges. I go to Moab frequently, but it has been decades since I went to Gemini Bridges. The last time I went the trail leader for that safari trail led the group across the outer bridge. I drove across that bridge. Now they make you park...
We joined the Red Rock 4-Wheelers in Moab for their March Trail of the Month. The trail was called Arches Tour and went to 17 different rarely seen arches. We had a great time.
Bride's Canyon. The Bride is the spire on the right, and the Groom is on the left.
Different angle of the Bride...
Get the selectable locker. You turn it on when you need it, and turn it off when you don't want it. It isn't that hard to do, you push a button. Turn it off before you get the steering bound up on slickrock, and before you need to turn in snow. I've been going to Moab all the time for...
I did Pritchet Canyon in Moab a couple of times in a TJ on 33s. I don't know if you've heard of the trail before, but it is generally considered Moab's toughest official trail and is rated 9 for difficulty.
As for your JT build, it looks like it is going to be impressive. Thanks for posting...
I have had Weather Tech floor mats before. There is no comparison to 3Wliners mats. The Weather Tech are thin stiff plastic that tends to slide around. They just feel cheap. The 3Wliner mats are a quality floor mat.
I just ordered a 2025 2-door Rubicon from the local Jeep dealership...
3Wliners floor mats.
I Installed a set in our JT Mojave and immediately noticed less road noise. They are also pet proof in case the dogs have an accident, throw up, or just shed hair like they do this time of year. I like them so much that yesterday when I ordered a new 2-door Rubicon from...
I decided to try the 3Wliners floor mats in our 2023 JT Mojave. Our JT came with the carpet floor mats, which had started looking horrible. It was difficult to remove dog hair without a lot of time spent at a carwash with a high-power vacuum. It was about impossible to clean them adequately...
For springtime 4-wheeling we will be taking our JT Mojave on 35s to Moab for the Red Rock 4-Wheelers club trail of the month next Saturday. The trail is rated 3 out of 10 for difficulty and is supposed to go to several rarely seen arches. It should be fun in the Mojave.
Then we will be...
I just installed a 3Wliners bed mat in my Gladiator Mojave, and I have to say that I am very impressed.
I bought my first pickup truck in 1977 and have owned a pickup truck ever since. Right now, I own three of them. And I've used a lot of different bed mats over the years, with everything...
I put the Apex kit on my 392 after fighting to turn the tires when locked up in 4-low and having the power steering hot light come on a few times with 37" tires. I thought that it made a significant improvement in being able to turn the tires and decreased the incidence of having the overheat...
I'm happy with the transfer case on my 2022 392. I only have 22,000 miles on it so far, but I'm running 40s and have done the Rubicon twice, all of the tough trails in Moab a couple of times, and countless other trails, with no problems at all. I changed the transfer case fluid at 18,000 miles...
I've always owned Jeeps since my first in 1974, so getting another Jeep is no surprise for me. As far as getting another Gladiator goes, that is another story. I bought a 2020 Mojave and really liked the small truck/Jeep platform. But I have also competed in desert racing events off and on...
What is the backstory behind this JT? Was it a SEMA build that they dumped a bunch of money into, and then just parked it in a showroom for 4 years afterwards?
Pros. For what is on this JT, and with the low miles, it is certainly worth that price. If you want it, buy it, because it will...
I bought my first Jeep in 1974 when I was 14 years old, and I've owned them ever since. Several times I have owned up to three at the same time, such as now: Restored '73 CJ5, '22 392 XR, '23 JT Mojave. The oldest was a 1956, the newest is our 2023 Mojave. I lost count a long time ago, and...
You lucky dog. I tried to sign up for Devil's Racetrack and it was already full. And I tried to sign up 1 hour after registration opened for club members, which was a week earlier than open registration started.
I've done Devil's Racetrack several times in a UTV or on an ATV, but never in a...
I'm not from Colorado, but I will be going this year. I used to go all the time but got kind of burned out on all the crowds. I'm sure the crowds won't be any less than before, but I'm going anyway. I've signed up for Rose Garden Hill, Flat Iron Mesa, Metal Masher, Poison Spider Mesa, and...
