I've debated this whole vehicle option also. I know some companies say and show how their PPF heals itself, I can't help but wonder if the PPF could get scratched also and then you must remove it and reapply at a big cost. I know my front fender has PPF and it has gotten scratched, I can buff it...
I have a related question. I'm pretty sure my Mojave has PPF from the factory on the Cowl, Front fender, and the plastic around the grill. And yes the little piece on the front of the rear fender. I don't think the grill has any. Am I mistaken something else for PPF? Do others have the same...
Try a nice ground tent with multiple rooms. No weight up high, no one falling off the ladder, lots of room, can stand up, and likely a lot less expensive.
Very very nice and looks very peaceful!! I see a camper in the background, is that a campground or is the river open camping as long as you can get to it? Thanks
I'm with you, no matter how great the other trucks get they still lack a couple things......the top and the doors don't come off. Bronco does give the Wrangler a run in this area, but I have not seen a Bronco with the doors off yet.
I have a hydroblue Mojave and I liked the performance of the stock Wildpeaks AT tires on rock, dry and wet pavement. So when I went to 35s I stayed with the same tire just bigger. I also like the extra stiff sidewall for lower air pressure situations on rocks. I feel my sidewall is more durable...
A couple thoughts:
1. on my 2021 Mojave I can not use the rear Mopar grab handles with the soft top. The soft top mounting needs to fit flush and it has to go over the grab handle. IF I had known this I would have saved the $85 on the Mopar handles and went with a forum members set up made from...
I use a folding platform furniture cart from Harbor Freight. IT folds up when not being used. The doors all lean up against the handle, I cover them with towels and a big sheet then strap them all together and to the handle. Roll it out of the way. ~$54.
I made it just about one year and roughly 15K miles. Jeep warranty did not apply as it was an L shaped crack about 14 inches long in the lower right corner. Might have had a couple rock chips along the crack, but they were really really really small so hard to say. Insurance bought me a brand...
Nice video, looks like an awesome area to check out. A question, it is Whitmore Rapids Grand Canyon Overlook or Elephant Hill in UT like the title on the youtube video? Thanks for sharing.
WOW that was fast!!! On the uses I meant they claim it can be removed and used again 200+ times. But sounds like you don't use it like that. I intend to put it on for a day or two trail ride and then remove it for the next couple weeks, etc. Thus, the questions on number of uses and ease of...
Have you ever run the trail out the other side of Crystal, believe its called Devils Punchbowl. Great trail coming down, probably a little more challenging going up especially if a little damp. But great views of the canyon and river.
I'm glad to hear you like the Mek MAgnet body armour. I'm looking at that as a solution to pinstriping and have some questions since it is not an inexpensive product.
1. Have you had any problem with it staying on?
2. Do you remove it often?
3. Is it pretty fast and easy to put on and take...
