A safe bet would be 35' tires. You could go up to 37's, but for price, overall comfort, and the extra wear and tear, it's not worth it to me. 35's are still huge tires and will make your Gladiator look great.
Right now I am only looking at about $4,000. Not doing the lift until a couple years down the line. Biggest things right now for me are rims, tires, headlights, and front bumper. I can see now why Jeep means Just Empty Every Pocket.
We do it in the JL soft tops all the time, even on the highway. It will not damage the vehicle. I would say that the JT Soft top seems sturdier because it has less top to support. My experience with the one I was able to take home for the night, it was fine at 60 mph with the windows still on.
I don't have my Gladiator yet, but my wife just sent me this. Her Compass got swarmed by 2 other Wranglers when she was getting her nails done. Super proud of herself, she sent me this picture. Safe to say I am jealous that I am not part of the Jeep crew yet.
We just got this Gladiator in yesterday from Factory. Here is the key and I never noticed this before. I assume it is made that way so it can be easier to get the cover off.
1. Full synthetic from factory
2. The engine oil our department uses is Pennzoil full synthetic, but there is also a MOPAR oil that some dealerships use. (I have heard that the MOPAR oil is Mobil 1)
3. Just keep some kind of documentation. I have seen spreadsheets, binders, and notes. Usually...
I agree I really like their tops but they don't have a JT one yet. It's the first mod I am getting for my Gladiator and the only one out is the spiderwebshade. If it's not out by the time I get my Punk'N orange one, then I am getting a blue spiderwebshade.
The certificate includes your USAA discount. It does not get reimbursed by FCA, FCA just gives the discount to you. It is a net zero loss for the dealership. With the certificate it gives you a no haggle price that can sometimes be wrong, or doesn't disclose all rebates used in the offer. Just...
I work for a Jeep dealer that is part of a TrueCar network. If you go through the USAA car buying program it generates your name as a TrueCar/USAA customer. What it gives you is dealerships that are TrueCar certified, and the discount that they are exclusively giving to you. With USAA you...
It really gives us salespeople a bad name. I pride myself on learning and loving my product. With the Gladiator I am putting my own money where my mouth is. I hate mystery shopping other dealerships and not being treated the right way. My least favorite thing is when someone assumes you can't...
I can't, we sold those Gladiators the day after we got them in. As a rule of thumb, I never recommend going into a garage with your top open. I have seen too many soft tops in my service bay ripped open like a tin can. It takes 15 seconds to close and open, it's not worth the risk.
I got to drive this one home for the night. The soft top is really easy to use. Getting the back window off takes about 20 seconds. The only part I need to get used to is putting the back window on. I was actually able to have a conversation with my wife on the phone with the top down. It is...
If you have a dealer that will work with you on a lease, you can get an awesome lease payment on a Sport S. It's not for everyone, but it can help you get what you want for less.
