Guys just a heads up; I was on phone with him today and he mentioned his finance department is basically him now (his finance lady quit) so he is wearing two hats at the dealership. My Jeep was apparently loaded onto a truck yesterday so Iām really hoping for dealership delivery by end of week...
That looks fantastic. I am taking delivery of overland hopefully this week and have Cooper AT3 in exact same size; I may put on a level which I have also but not completely sure yet. Either way- it looks very good in my opinion; perfect size.
I put a spacer level on my GMC Sierra with no change whatsoever on the ride quality; just took a day or so to get used to new angle of view from windshield. I plan on alloy USA 1.5ā level once I take delivery (hopefully this week).
Some manufacturers of 285/75 (Specifically the Cooper AT3 LTX has 7.5 in its recommended tire width for that size. 295/70 works as well but itās a wider tire and 7.5 is the minimum depending on brand. The Cooper is 7-9.5 or something which is why itās my current choice once I get the truck
Iāve personally seen Toyo AT 35/12.5 on stock overland wheels. It looks great, but Iām planning 285/75r18 which is 11ā width and 34.8ā measured fully inflated.
Oh really? I thought they had full size rim spare? As in not a steelie.. I hear many people talking about rotating the spare in during tire rotations as itās a regular 5 wheel..?
My wifeās Lnd Rover has it and itās no biggy. I shut it off sometimes but others I just ignore it- Florida summer is hot and I want the cool air running full time. I donāt buy the environmental benefits and the fuel savings for most of us are negligible. I feel itās an EPA recommended or...
Damn Iām not good with math at all- and this really confuses me. I have to ask; the wheel Iām looking to replace my Overland 18ā with comes 9ā wide. They come with options of
-12 offset and 4.5 backspace.
Would that be an issue? Other than the bolt pattern; backspace and offset remain the same...
Iāve called around my local dealerships to put tires on- and none of them say itās okay to put bigger tires on stock rims due to āoffsetā and rubbing issues! Even if going to 33ā on an overland! I plan to use a site or maybe even have dealership do it with Tri City and Travis.. or use discount...
Just wait; he got back to me- took a while but he did. If ordering a gladiator; patience is the name of the game. Iād be happy to go a week or two without hearing from travis if Fca could tell me why my vehicle hasnāt changed status in a month and a half! Either way- itās the best deal BY FAR I...
Iām in Florida. Ordered black. Ordered heated seats. Got the leather. Iāve had all color vehicles, and black is no hotter than the next; theyāre all hot. Blast air, windows down a minute regardless of color. Remote start really does help (didnāt order that) but have it on my gray Sierra right...
So you think youāll gain in height with just swapping the coil springs (front and rear)? Would that be possible without the fox shocks or any of the other rubicon equipment? From what Iāve read, the springs are same height just more firm which equates to less sag- hence the higher stance.
