I have been doing the same: 3 inquiries in over 2 months isn't much: I'm not unhappy by any stretch of the imagination, and I am patient. But rolling a MOPAR kit into financing is easier than forking over 2k cash that could be on the down payment. Again, not to bash or anything I am happy but...
Looking to put 35's (technically 34.8's with 285/75r18) on stock Overland wheels. I will be adding the 1.5" level kit to the front, with the shock extensions. Will also be adding a 3/4" spacer to the rear. I do not plan on doing too much wheeling, however don't want a nasty bump to cause any...
That's a long wait! How was his communication with you? I've been hit or miss: ordered 5/14, only inquired about three times about the progress but he hasn't gotten back to me the third time which was about a week ago - asking if he does MOPAR lifts, and accessories I'm interested in at the...
Because stock suspension has the nose down which allows the rear to give a little when towing or hauling. The level kit is designed to raise the front enough to make the truck lose its ārakeā which is the technical term for the nose down characteristic
So prior to the front shocks; you had the alloy 1.5 kit, and rubicon rear shocks? Even if for a short period of time- you were happy?
I plan to do the 1.5 level; are the shock extensions problematic or noisy or anything? I too, donāt plan to go over 285/75r18 on stock overland wheels.
Iām in 21 days of JB; after 4 days of JS (which nobody can confirm I was ever in when I go to Jeep Chat). I was in JS for 4 days when bumped back, I actually had one of the reps on chat saying should be shipped in a day or so- then back to JB with āno recordā of being in JS.. lame.
Ordered 5/17...
Why go for the lift down the road? Iām planning on the alloy level; and potentially the rear RC spacer for 35ās on my Overland (285/75r18 so more like 34.8) just because. I donāt think the spacer in rear is needed but itās a āpoor mans liftā. I have RC level on my current Sierra and have been...
Awesome thanks guys. Your truck looks great- I assume that steel bumper making it sit with rake and that the 1.5ā level without was probably pretty even. I just have to avoid the squat look.. at all costs. Heh
I have black overland on the way- will be putting 295/70r18 Cooper AT3ās. Theyāre bigger and more aggressive and I have gotten 70k miles out of a set (all highway) on an old ford ranger I had for years. Quiet until they show decent wear.. then loud haha
Iām debating new wheels and tires but of course the ones I want cost an arm and a leg. I donāt dislike the overland rims, just the tires. Does anyone with an overland have pictures with different tires on it? I may go 35s on the overland with stock rims and a level. Kind of a poor mans upgrade.
Congrats! I have a 10hr drive home when I fly in for mine as well; so he will have a driver pick you up if needed? I was looking at rentals to drive up there from airport.
