  1. Newsflash: Overlands aren’t just Mall Crawlers!

Send me a message when you head back up there. I’m in Salt Lake, so it’s 3.5 hours drive for me. Since you tackled wipe out hill, you can handle the others.
  2. Newsflash: Overlands aren’t just Mall Crawlers!

Probably passed each other at some point. Same here on being impressed with JT. I’ve been to Moab before on 35s, but the 3” lift and 37s was a new ballgame being able to also do Poison Spider, Metal Masher, and Hells Revenge
  3. Why you chose Mopar Lift vs 3rd Party?

Well said. Didn’t hold me back running with many Wranglers in Moab on Hells Revenge, Poison Spider, or Metal Masher.
  4. Newsflash: Overlands aren’t just Mall Crawlers!

I recognize wipe out hill. I ran it on Tuesday, and the long wheelbase crawled up with ease compared to a lot of the wranglers.
  5. Fishbone Bed Rack

No on swapping. I did cut the tent mounting bolts, but that’s it.
  6. Knock off Rubicon metal bumper?

Thanks. So that kills the theory that people say they’re made In the same factory. I ordered mine from BAM, but you’re still getting the knockoff for half (not to mention the winch plate is included - had to get mine from Rustys). Curious if the Mopar Steel Bumper skid mounts up to knockoff.
  7. Knock off Rubicon metal bumper?

Where was the bumper made? I purchased the OEM steel, and it was made in USA. That may help determine if they are made in same factory.
  8. Recommended Diff Protection?

G2 covers were recommended by my Jeep shop
  9. Fishbone Bed Rack

I’ll probably go with wing nuts. Lowe’s didn’t have them in 1/2 SS. Need to check Ace. But, one con is they’ll tool less for anyone else walking by when parked. I put an electric hoist in my garage, so I’ll only use rack for trips. Low risk for theft then.
  10. Fishbone Bed Rack

Just some stainless bolts for now. I keep ratchet and wrench in truck
  11. 2" mopar lift vs 2.5" AEV Dual Sport

2.5" on a sport with 35s (315/70/17) would like fine. On a Rubicon, the tires would look a bit small.
  12. Protecting Your Rear - Sheridan hitch mounted skid from Warfab

A lot of us would take an extra 1/2” any day. Thanks for the pics.
  13. Fishbone Bed Rack

will provide some updated photos once I get traction boards mounted. Looking at options to carry mountain bikes on the sides.
  14. Gears for 37" tires

75mph on 5.13s on 37” Cooper ST Maxx. I don’t think 80mph would too busy.

  17. Who is going to Easter Jeep Safari?

My schedule: Tue - Backwards Bill 10am. Wed - Fins and Things 8am. Hope to hit trails in afternoon on these 2 days. Maybe Poison Spider, Steel Bender, or Metal Masher and take bypasses on the most difficult obstacles. Thur - family day Friday - Elephant Hill solo. Heading into Needles to...
  18. New Quadratec Morphic Wheel in latest catalog, not yet on website

No spacers. I don’t see why spacers would be needed on a Rubicon or max tow with the wider axles from factory. I see people running 37s on Rubicon with stock wheels, so there can’t be an issue with these. Going to Moab later this month but haven’t been Offroad yet since I’m breaking in new gears...
  19. Mopar 2" Lift Part Number AB vs AC?

I forgot to warn you. I encountered this but found another forum post to help me sort it out. My recollection is the first picture is correct.
