You are likely fine in Georgia (assuming you have 8 speed AT). Don’t expect to tow very much, regardless of those that say they tow 7k on stock gears. I just regeared to 5.13 because I’m at high elevation in Utah. Even here, you could “live with” stock gears.

Yes, but the brackets on back that hold down the tonneau rails have some interference. I do not have the trail rail system, but the guy on this YouTube video installed this exact tonneau cover with it. Fast forward to 10:00.
