My old CJs would do this but I don't believe that the Gladiator or any other Jeep from the factory back to the TJs would be capable of this. To much computer controlled safety
I'm a average size American so 5'-10", 200 lbs, and a size 10 shoe. I actually like the pedal spacing and I haven't found myself needing a dead pedal. The longest drive to date has only been 90 miles and most of my driving is short highway, country roads and the occasional 50 mile round trip...
I've been curious as to how many people were Jeep people and truck people. Seems to be a good mix of both here as far as people that have had or have Jeeps without trucks and truck people that have not had a Jeep. After having a couple CJs I've be a Jeep guy but my vehicle needs have lead me...

There is only one tow option for the manual which includes the HD cooling, 2" receiver, 240 amp alternator, and hitch zoom.
I have a Sport S. As for the brake controller for the towing I do I went with a Reese Pilot. A time delay controller. I wanted the flexibility to stuff it up under the...
I've towed my camper approximately 3300lb loaded and some coolers in the truck. Towed down some winy hilly back roads about 30 miles. The truck handled well. Seems to have the power to move. No issue pulling 55-60. Was definitely shifting more but to be expected with the load. Brake controller...
Some disappointing news today. Received the mirrors I ordered. I'll be returning them. I knew there maybe a risk here but I can confirm they don't fit nor do I think it's possible to make them fit. :crying:
The clips are much to small and lip on the gladiator mirror positions the tow mirror...
Coming up with my draft. Final pipe material is yet to be determined, hangers will be 1/4 plate.
Anyone have some dimensions as far as their over all length? I don't want to over run and I don't want to be to short, any insight on actual step placement would be appreciated as well.
Anyone...
I would consider it a "boy ax". I use it mostly to clear brush up to a couple inches or split small pieces of wood for a fire. Dropping trees with an ax is hard work and like stated a saw is probably more ideal for that.
Anyone on here build their own rails/steps yet? I'm looking to design and build my own. Nothing fancy just simple functional nerf bars. If anyone has any dimensions length, width, bolt spacing and layout would be handy. I've looked over a few designs and feel l have some ideas on how I'd...
When I first seen the new bronco concept back 10-12 years ago it was cool as hell. Super retro look just after the new Stang came and shook up things. Now I'm feel like Ford finds a way to disappoint. The new ranger is a dusted of Ausi platform with the nothing to really offer the midsize...
He was driving me crazy about 2 mins in. It seems like he read and watched every review out there and was repeating everything he read or seen in someone else's YouTube video.
I would say I agree that there could be some adjustments to the gearing but my biggest on is the 1st to 2nd shift. I...
The issue on the diesel is probably once again additional weight and then the issue of cooling. Loading the gas and the diesel the same the diesel would probably out perform the gas. Jeep has liabilities to watch for safety factors for the occupants and for the life of the vehicle. This is a...
