    tried search, no luck so our 3.0 makes what i'd call a summer night cricket sound under light acceleration that doesn't mimic the engine rpm. Dealer can't duplicate...and i think it's because it only happens under load. I think they sat there and rev'd it to no avail. I'm not new to diesels...

    i may be really late to this party, but i had the same thing and ended up being combination of rear swaybar in a bind (ungreased and too tight) but mainly for me, it was the passenger rear upper control arm. The truck side, or female side, was a bit wide, so the control arm was grabbing only...
