Does anyone have any experience with this bed rack system from Front Runner?

I have this setup on my truck so far with nothing on it yet but plan to put a RTT on it while waiting for the...
I haven’t driven by that area in awhile but I assume they will there in May but not fully operational. That’s my guess.
Wonder if they will do installs locally or need a local prototype tester ?
He may have bought the SmartCap designed kit like myself.
While I still wait on my SmartCap I ordered legs from Front Runner to mount the rack to the accessory rail. Can’t use my awning since the width of the rack is narrower than the cab and the awning doesn’t mount far enough out.
That said...
I’m still undecided. The new one also has pass through for 12v and will have a new padding system. The mat and condensation were the most common complaints I heard on the older one. Buying the mats every upgrade with is a few hundred bucks cutting that margin.
But on the other hand, I could use...
I’m continuing to wait on my Adventure model from them. They have been responsive to my inquires.
My order was in November and I’ll post when I’m contacted it’s available for others to get a reference for their orders.
I hope for others the upcoming local production in Texas will help others when it’s completed construction versus the importing stuff they go through now.
Uhh. I ordered in November with an ETA of December. Still waiting. Got a assembled rack waiting in the garage and set to order a RTT in a couple weeks.
They are responsive to status update emails so I don’t feel left in the dark.
No problem. Though I'll have roof height I plan to also use it for cover for my one person tent when not using a RTT.

Just keep the poles at their lowest height and it provides cover when getting in and out when it's raining.
Not sure how to address the lower height but if you want to be sure it fits the bed you need to look at the shorter options.

I had that debate too and kept the Skycamp because for me it will be above the roof line and I'll take the extra aerodynamic points. Otherwise I would have taken the extra room in the x-cover mini.
I got signed up for that as well. The wife says go for it so once they pre-order opens I'm making the jump.
I did reach out to them about the accessories and learned that those will be later this year. So Annex, etc will have to wait.
Found some vides on the new tents and accessories from...
Has anyone received their SmartCap from @OffroadAlliance.com in the last couple months? Curios to know where they are in the backlog of orders I imagine they have?
I know I want the mini for various reasons which I don’t want to get into. What I’m curious about is should I get the current version that going around for sell $3300. Lino sing a new model is coming some point this year I’m taking a guess it’s going to be a lot closer to the $4k mark.
That’s a...
I ordered my SmartCap Adventure in November from OffRoad Alliance with a Dec ETA at the time and still no updates :(
Front Runner Rack, lights, and parts just sitting on a bench in the garage. Waiting is the hard part at this point.
Thank you for noting that but I was looking for the polymer one and for it to have a smooth surface so it would be mount things to. The aluminum material makes it more difficult to work with in this scenario.
