Took the Jeep in to dealer for the Z37 recall. about 30 minutes no problems. I do not notice anything different in the way it drives or how the engine runs. I had not had any problems prior to the recall though.
Sorry if someone already said this as I did not read all the posts. Cooled seats. Love the heated seats, but being in FL cooled seats is a real dream. Doors off, cooled seats on.
Just seeing this thread, wish I could join you all but I'll be doing the same stuff only about 2 weeks later. Soooo anyone else who can't make it with the A team maybe you'd like to join the C team. Just throwing it out there. You all have an awesome time and don't break the trails!!!
Drove mine 11 hours one way stopping only for gas. Mojave with hardtop. I was a little concerned (not really more like aware) of comments people had made about solid axles etc. but I came from a 1998 TJ so I had some understanding of Jeeps. My drive home was fantastic, no effort steering or...
Hmmmm I scheduled to take a lengthy trip in Aug, do I risk the TB failure on trip or the PCM brick and have no trip?‍♂️? Or is the post above with a PCM brick solution real?? Decisions Decisions
I looked at the Taco and the Ranger and the Colorado and the JT. They all had their thing, mostly everything was a lot cheaper than the JT. The comments by everyone about the Taco were almost my feeling to a tee. I liked the reliability and the price and the look of some tricked out Tacos, but...
Thanks for the link. That cushion is about 1 inch thick, does it really do much to cushion the ride? I also feel the seats are a little stiff for long distance driving and I'm looking for a cushion. Currently I'm using a 2.5 inch cushion from a chair in the house. IT is a little clunky in its...
Looks great, can you take a couple pics from the front and rear looking down the side of the truck so I can see your tire poke? Also, do the 37s rub the fenders at full flex without disconnecting the sway bar? Thanks for the help!
Just an update for anyone looking at these. I installed the passenger side today. Took a little longer because I went a head and cut the plastic bumper support and the metal bumper support to fit the slide so I could leave them installed. Thus, instead of throwing them aside like the directions...
I went with one of these ebay hitch skid plates https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-...2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0, it is awesome and the right price. See the thread dedicated to them.
But sir, I do like your extra tail light, nice job!!!
Picked one of these up for myself after looking at ALL the other options. Some of the more expensive ones have other items that are cool, but for the money this thing is solid. Looks well made, finish is nice and yes all the screws holding the SS plate on the top were loose. LOL But this thing...
So what supports the plastic bumper if that piece is throw in the trash? Also, the instructions say to remove the steel support bracket, but I did not see where they say to reinstall the steel support bracket. Thus, do you leave it off too? It appears the slider will not fit with the steel...
Agree on the pin striping, seems to me this time of the year it is worse than in the winter. I've watched youtube videos on the ONF BOH and they said it was pretty tight and lots of pin striping. Never been to Citrus but Croom has some nice roads. But there again this time of the year it seems...
I have not thought about it until I saw tonight where Red Summit Machine Works https://redsummitmachineworks.com/ sells a kit do do this exact thing. You supply the welder they supply the parts. $199 Check it out
This is near perfect, I al
ways wondered why they were so wide and hung so low below the chain rings. Nice work, only thing to make it better is to make it so you can mount the hi lift ack to it like the skid mark. Nice work.
Thanks for the extra information. I took pics of my set up using same method as you and I have no poke beyond the top of the fender flare at all, so there is a difference in poke you set up to mine and it is probably about 1 inch but without doing camera like you did I did not see it. Thanks...
