I installed the clips and although they MIGHT delay some eventual breakage on the visor mount, there is still tons of movement. The clips mount in the outside and it feels like there should be something ABOVE ( between it and the window frame) the plastic bracket to prevent it rocking back and...
DITTO on the sound bar rattle - comes and goes and I've done the same attempt at isolating the rattle when it pops up, contorting and applying pressure here and there...
I've been contemplating this option and appreciate the detail. Did similar on a previous Jeep ( speaker replacement only) and was quite satisfied.
[PS - was the entire kit from Crutchfield?]
Am I seeing your liner correctly - is it spray lined also?
And also, I like the tonneau cover that folds right out of the way - can you share info on that also?
Thanks for the link. Couldn't buy the exact one but found a similar one easily.
just got my new to me '22 and tried to tighten these and noticed the flimsy build. No breaks yet so hopefully the bracket will strengthen them to prevent future failure. 🤞🏼
That was my conclusion - that it was intended to be in that location.
im still not 100% sure they were the correct shocks but that's what the store gave me ¯¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
The original Mopar shock has the sleeve in the middle. The new Rough Country has it off centre as per picture. Is this critical? I tried moving the sleeve to the middle but it resisted.
front shocks on 2022 Gladiator Willys Sport eco diesel.
I think I've got the same in my '22.
I'm curious what you mean by 'more tech'? When I've got CarPlay ™️ going, I'm not feeling like anything is missing.
just curious.
I did indeed have functioning TPMS on the previous wheels.
I'm waiting for response from seller about TPMs - I'm starting to suspect they had them moved to their new tires because they were on a brand new vehicle purchase and changed the tires right away.
Perhaps one could ask them to replace battery when moving TPMSensors? I've got new 'take-offs' from a Rubicon Gladiator I JUST put on my '22 Willys Gladiator and voila.... no TPMS sensors (I forgot to ask the seller)
Is it wrong to presume all 2024/5 Rubicon's come with TPMS?
I JUST did the same thing today for my '22 Gladiator...
Is there a way to tell if the Rubicon wheels have a sensor already? I see there were simple green valve stem caps vs the old rims that have black caps with a visible 'spring' or something in the cap...
Of course, I never asked the tire...
PS - is it just me or is that REALLY good price? I am looking at a similar set locally ( sorry I'm too distant to buy yours) and the guy is asking $1,879 equivalent USD.
