As the subject says...Is it ok for me to drive without the inner fender liner?
A little background now. This weekend I did the fender chop on my Sport S. This was an actual "chop" as it didn't have the fenders that came apart. I will post the results and what I learned in another post. I am...
I posted in electronics first but I think this might be more appropriate for the topic. Moderators, by all means, delete the other if the double post is an issue.
The first picture is the vehicle side of the wiring for the lights on the fender. The second is the fender side of the same...
The first picture is the vehicle side of the wiring for the lights on the fender. The second is the fender side of the same connector. The third is the plug info showing what each wire is.
Now to my question. The vehicle side has the wiring for Daytime running lights. The fender side is missing...
I figured someone has had to of done this. I am interested to see how it turned out. I am sure the pictures will show but what did you think of the outcome?
From everything I have seen the max tow and rubicon fenders are different than the stock sport S ones. My front fenders do not appear to come apart. The rears look like they could be separated but I haven't looked too much into it.
The question I have is....has anyone "chopped" the sport...
Those look great. This will make my wait even longer. I ordered the angled up and it is saying 3-4 weeks for delivery. I watched the install video on quadratec and they said the extra bolts were to change out for the factory ones. I took it to mean the factory ones were not long enough to...
I do not know what the measurements are for the Mopar rails but I just measured these. The inside to the edge is 1.5" and the outside depth is 1 5/8". The opening width is 1.5". Attached is a crude picture of what I meant for the dimensions. Below is the link to what I bought from Lowes. As...
You can do a stubby with a low winch. My current one has this and I had one on my JKU. This is the quadratec version that I currently have. It doesn't have rhe skid plat though.

I bought this one. I had it on my JKU and now the JT. No noticeable difference in reception. I am not s fan of the super short ones and this is right in the middle.

I had one on my JKU before trading it in for the JT. The price you found is the best I've seen. I got mine for $499 so a great find. I had no problems with it blocking airflow or any other issues with it. I will buy it again when I get the jeep fund back up.
I upgraded to the Rubicon suspension and have the stock Sport S (not max tow). Everything is there you will need. They came off with about 1700 miles.
Free and I'm in rhe Monterey area.
I swapped the control arms because the part numbers were different. Honestly, looking at them there is no difference in size or anything I can tell. However, since I had the complete set I switched them.
I have no spacers or anything above what came from the factory.
I am running Yokohama...
I just installed my version of this. A great project by the way. I didn't do the front rail as I don't currently see a need. With everything I think I am out the door around $75. That includes 10 eye bolts and connections. I think I will end up having them powered coated. Right now it is just...
I just completed the Rubicon to Sport S suspension swap. Took me about 6 hours but that was by myself and a few hiccups I will call them. Below are some pictures with the measurements. I gained about 1 inch in the front and 3/4 inch in the rear. The setup I got had all the pieces from the...
Has anyone had any issues with their warranty or the dealer after using the jscan? I know for a fact that some aftermarket programmers can be "seen" by a dealer even after unplugging. The ECM will reset different timing settings and such. Anyway, since this is only allowing what is currently in...
