Sorry, I don't have the answer to that specific question.
but my solution was to use an inline harness for the 7pin. It's easy add or remove. Also requires no cutting of factory wires. And has no issues with canbus.
I know that modifying/swapping tallights can potentially require programming...
I liked how it was in the JKU. Feels like the fixed something that wasn't broken. At first, I made it a point to manual shift the gladiator often just to get it into muscle memory. Then stop bothering.
Now if they'd only fix that driver side seat elevation lever. 15 years of bumping that thing...
I replaced my ford ranger with a wrangler because it reminded me of my time in the humvee. Then the gladiator came out and I was able to get back into having a truck again with just about the same set up. At this point, I'm not sure what I will get for my next truck.
I just got one as well. Since there are not pre-drilled holes, I attached some quickfist clamps to mine using some simple rectangular molle adapters that I made.
I like that it's light, quick to setup and remove. And takes up very little space to store.
congrats. glad it worked out.
those are so much wider than the rubi rails. It's hard to mistaken one for the other.
You might consider putting a strip tape on top. If they texture is anything like the rock hard 4x4 rails, they get a little slick when it gets wet or muddy.
As much fun as I had with my JKU, I am ultimately a truck guy.
And if they decide to not offer an electric option for the JT, I'll probably looking at another platform for my next truck.
That being said I keep my vehicles for 10 years. So we'll see where things are in another 5 years.
Who...
Sorry, I don't have the answer, but wondering if you still have the broken tab. Might be able to just epoxy it. Seems partially hollow, so I would guess that it could potentially be even stronger then the original. Not sure though.
No way it will reach the battery. You have to either make your own harness, which is very essy. You can buy a pair of delphi metri pack 5 pin connectors.
Or you need to buy a premade extension harness. Which means getting one of the correct length. Or two and doubling them up.
Unless you have a...
