I could see someone wanting them there for when the seats are down.
Could even put on color coded quick fist mounts when needed.
I guess it depends on what installs faster for a weekend trip.
I screw the cap back on with my hand holding the ratchet centered over the cap until it stops. No leverage on the end.
Been doing it that way since my 2013 JKU. No need to crank it down hard.
I would like something in between. A plastic pocket that inserts the same way the metal ones do and uses the existing holes for bottom support. Or a metal one that is stamped and is formed like the plastic one.
I like that the plastic one is not blocky, but the install could be much simpler...
I little bit of tint helps to tone down that bright white and is barely noticeable if at all when backing up.
Then again, I've got some bright bumper reverse lights as well. :CWL:

Are you removing the fender liners so you can install the vent lights? Or you just happen to be doing both? If you are just installing the vent lights, removing the fender liner is not necessary at all. You can easily fish the wire behind the liner without removing it.
I agree 100%. When I get something like that, I fill it in with epoxy and paint over it. I've done that with parts from EVO, Metalcloak, Artec. I just have an OCD about seeing cutout logos in armor. LoL
I would guess not. They are a narrow round tube and can be slippery. For people, not a problem. But a paw could slip between the outer tube and the rocker guard.
Even so, I out grip tape to help with the slickness.
