I too like to help jump start vehicles. But I never use my own. I always carry a battery jump starter in my truck. And I have one in my wife's van as well. Never a need for pulling up vehicles or pulling out cables.

When I did mine, I threw it on just before going to work. What should have been no more than ten minutes took almost an hour of wigglimg and jiggling before I finally said f it and opened up one of the holes. Haha.
