I don't think there is two jl/jt mount versions. People buy the jk version to get the clamp style mount. I think you can swap it out, but people have stripped the bolt because of how tight it is. And manybe reversed threaded as well.

I had the diamondback and switched to the revolver x4s. It's a lot quicker to use the full bed when needed. I had to add rails to the diamondback, but the x4s already had them. Depends on case usage really.
