Mine no longer work with after market wheels. Think it's how the module sits in the wheel. Tire pressure shows correct but tire pressure light is always on.
Not all spacer lifts are the same, material used can vary and make a difference in how it effects the ride. The same goes with the spring lifts, each manufacturer may use different material and build can vary. With so many options and opinions making a decision is difficult for sure. Going...
Put everything back together and check the steering wheel. If still off loosen the bolt on the drive side of the drag link and adjust the knurled adjuster, turn and check wheel. If goes the wrong way turn the adjuster the other direction.
What Ted said. Have 35's and have reprogrammed for the tire size. Highway speeds are no problem, easily cruise at 70-80 no problem. Gas mileage suffers a bit, average 16.9 mpg with a mix of highway and street driving.
On 35s and no issues, keeps up with traffic no problem. Have pulled a boat and had to manually select gears to find the best one to ride in, found that 6th was best overall. If left alone transmission keep switching between 4th-5th. Gas mileage isn't as good as 33's or smaller tires but is...
Haven't measured since installing the spacers. The Daystar lift comes with front lower control arms. Adding an adjustable track bar might be my next mod.
The kit might have the rear shock extensions. My kit came with them but no instructions on how to install. Received updated instructions for rear shock extensions and have installed. The original kit came with .75" rear spacers but have since received 1.5" spacers for the rear.
Would install the bump stops for the front. Here is mine with a 2" Daystar spacer lift and 35" tires. There is about 1/2" inch of space in the rear before hitting the axle. Front is against the bump stop.
Is that the spacer lift? If so, follow the written instructions and might want to look into getting a spring compressor. Installed a 2" spacer lift and was able to get the spring back in place by standing on the axle. The extra 1.5" might be a bit more difficult.
The original kit came with a .75" spacer for the rear. However, a few days ago Daystar sent a 1.5" spacer for the rear. The new spacer is installed and makes the Gladiator sit correctly. To me the .75" spacer in the rear wasn't enough.
