The “loose steering” is well known on the Gladiator. There are threads galore about it- whether it’s an issue or non issue, etc. You do have to correct your line at highway speeds a lot, but nothing too terrible.
I’m looking to replace the side rails from my Overland with stock Rubi take offs. The seller has the bolts, but not the nuts as he needed them for his new rails.
Will the nuts/bolts from my Overland rails work with the rubi rails?

Crap I hope not! I’ve been a Toyota guy for years and never had issues. But I loved the Gladiator and traded my 4Runner for it. I’ve always loved Jeeps but always hesitated due to potential transmission issues. This would really suck if that’s the case.

I’ve read that people are having a tough time removing their rock rails. Has anyone removed their Overland side steps and had a lot of issues? I’m going to replace mine soon with Rubicon rails or aftermarket rails and just wondering how hard this is going to be!
