  4. Virginia WTB Overland steps

I may have some available in a week or so in Winston-Salem, NC. I bought Rubicon rails and will hopefully swap them this week. Might be too far?
  5. North Carolina DEAL PENDING - Hickory, NC - WTB Overland Wheels

Cool- thanks for getting back to me! They are money black holes for sure!
  6. Pics of Overland with Rubicon take-offs?

I’m considering thus swap. Anyone have pics of their overland with these tires and rims? Just the normal grey ones.
  7. Observations from 600 mile trip on Day 1

The “loose steering” is well known on the Gladiator. There are threads galore about it- whether it’s an issue or non issue, etc. You do have to correct your line at highway speeds a lot, but nothing too terrible.
  8. Stock Overland Steps/rails

I’m looking to replace the side rails from my Overland with stock Rubi take offs. The seller has the bolts, but not the nuts as he needed them for his new rails. Will the nuts/bolts from my Overland rails work with the rubi rails?

Also- I’ve done a reset on the iPod to no avail.
  10. Limit on songs on iPod?

i have the Uconnect 8.4 and I’ve alwsys had a 160 gb iPod connected in my trucks to listen to a lot of my music collection. I have the iPod connected in the middle console and for the first 2 weeks it worked perfect. But now, it is mixing up songs (playing Alice In Chains when I’ve chosen Tower...
  11. Some hesitation and weird shifting

I’ll try that and see if it improves! Thanks for the info!
  12. Some hesitation and weird shifting

Great info- thanks! I’ll drive it awhile and see how it does. I love the truck- there’s just nothing else like it. I’ve been a Toyota guy for 20 years but the Gladiator made me switch. I love everything about it so hope it’s reliable!
  13. Hesitation and weird shifting

I posted this in general discussion but it might be better here- Took the kids out tonight in the Overland 8 speed automatic to look at Christmas lights. When driving through neighborhoods at lower speeds, there seemed to be a lot of hesitation and very strange shifting happening. It would rev...
  14. Some hesitation and weird shifting

Crap I hope not! I’ve been a Toyota guy for years and never had issues. But I loved the Gladiator and traded my 4Runner for it. I’ve always loved Jeeps but always hesitated due to potential transmission issues. This would really suck if that’s the case. I’ll drive it a few more days and see...
  15. Some hesitation and weird shifting

Took the kids out tonight in the Overland 8 speed automatic to look at Christmas lights. When driving through neighborhoods at lower speeds, there seemed to be a lot of hesitation and very strange shifting happening. It would rev pretty high and take forever to shift sometimes and other times it...
  16. Difficulty removing side steps

Great to know! Thanks for that. I keep reading about some having to apply heat and use breaker bars and it was making me dread the project.
  17. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Installed the 67 Designs phone base and holder!
  18. Difficulty removing side steps

Were the bolts very difficult to break loose? Do I need a breaker bar or just some manly arms?
  19. Difficulty removing side steps

I’ve read that people are having a tough time removing their rock rails. Has anyone removed their Overland side steps and had a lot of issues? I’m going to replace mine soon with Rubicon rails or aftermarket rails and just wondering how hard this is going to be!
