  1. Anyone DIY Woolwax or Fluid Film?

Thanks for the posts--this sounds like a fun DIY project.
  2. And now for something completely different* . . . A fun change in the garage!!

Exactly. Every time I parked I engaged the front cam just to avoid trashing the splitter. If the driveway angle was too steep you had to take it at an angle. Never had a ticket, but part of that was my hard-wired Valentine One. On top of that, GM is making it harder and harder to get C7...

5 gal ought to do it!;)
  4. Anyone DIY Woolwax or Fluid Film?

Very new (2 days) 2024 Gladiator owner here. Thinking of getting a little help before the salt season. I was wondering if any of you has applied your own Woolwax or Fluid Film? I have a decent shop at home, decent air compressor, and do a fair amount of my own wrenching. Not trying to save...
  5. And now for something completely different* . . . A fun change in the garage!!

^^^ Funny! Not sure what to do with the Vette stuff. Might keep if for now and add some Jeep, or they might end up in landfill. Good question though. PS: Happy my wife approved the color. The trade, by the way, was great. They gave me a very good price for the Vette, and saved a lot on...
  6. And now for something completely different* . . . A fun change in the garage!!

Hmmm, interesting. I have a decent shop at home, so I am really tempted to try Woolwax myself. Not a fan of having others working on my vehicles if I can possibly do it myself.
  7. And now for something completely different* . . . A fun change in the garage!!

OP here--thanks for the comments and support! Again, my first Jeep but I'm pretty psyched. Looking underneath, I'm wondering what I am going to do about rust here in the salt world of MN--either try something to resist it or just give in to the inevitable. Open to suggestions (but I will use...
  8. And now for something completely different* . . . A fun change in the garage!!

This morning the garage looked like this: This afternoon it looked like this: Time for a change! The Vette was nice, but only 11,000 miles in about 4 years. It's a short season here in MN, has low ground clearance, fragile wheels, limited storage . . . Just taking up space too much...
  9. Just about to purchase; and first test drive notes.

^^^ Thanks! This will be my first Jeep, but I've had the Jeep itch since I was a kid. Gladiator lets me scratch the Jeep itch and serve as a truck at the same time.
  10. Just about to purchase; and first test drive notes.

Thanks! I agree-- Robin Trower or SRV can handle just about any wind noise.
  11. Just about to purchase; and first test drive notes.

Greetings from Minnesota! After lurking about and reading a LOT of threads, I am just about to purchase a Gladiator. A local dealer has a decent price on a Sarge Green Mojave, and is also willing to give me a good price on my trade. So barring anything unusual coming up, I'm pretty excited...
