To offset all the only negative stuff being brought out on the forums generally, I will chime in with my info. I have a JLUR with the 3.0 in it with 6200 miles and have not had any of these problems that are being said to be widespread. I have a JTR with the 3.0 on order and am not worried in...
Either call your dealer and ask for the VIN, or give your VON to Jeep chat and ask for it. Usually you can get it about 3 days after you placed your order.
I am assuming you are in JS like me as we both have our build sheets showing on Crypto. So it’s either getting additional inspections or is in storage waiting for release by the plant for shipping. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to get to KZ status. My diesel JRUR took 3 days, I am hoping...
The release date for the lift kit has nothing to do with JT parts. I’ve been driving my diesel JLR since March and the lift kit for that is just coming out.
i have ordered 3 JLs and 2 JTs. Idk about other people’s experiences, but I have found the ship date to be the actual build date with every one of mine.
Well that stinks. I was excited when my dealer told me it was 23 gallons. My wrangler with the 18 gallon tank is nice, but an extra 5 gallons would be even better. I thought it could be possible given all the extra real estate under the truck for the def tank to not take up fuel tank space.
I don’t think that is correct. My diesel Wrangler has an 18 gallon tank, but when I was ordering my diesel Gladiator my dealer looked it up and it was 23 gallons. I guess I’ll find out soon enough.
Figures. I ordered my diesel JLUR in sting gray because Sarge wasn’t available when I ordered. Ordered my diesel JTR in sting gray because sarge wasn’t available when I ordered. Oh well.
The one who told me 9:/3 also told me gas production was to start on the 21st. Maybe they started on 3rd shift on the 20th, but he seems pretty accurate.
