2021 Gladiator production actually started on the 21st according to my contact, and diesel production will not begin until 9/3. It’s so hard to tell what’s fact with FCA, seems so chaotic.

Certainly the manual can be an issue. It was an issue when I ordered one last summer and it delayed it so long I gave up on it, but at the same time people who ordered automatics were being pumped right out. I ordered mine 8/1 and had a VIN on 8/3. It is in D1 status and should be building this week hopefully.

I’d call them tomorrow and see what’s doing. If you don’t get any resolution then I recommend finding another dealer.

Then there is a problem with your dealer.

You should of had a vin within a couple of days after. If you contact Jeep chat with your VON, they can give you your VIN.

I ordered it Saturday, August 1st and my dealer emailed me on Monday, August 3rd with my Vin. I am in D1 status as of this past Monday, and hopefully will be building not too long after the 21 production starts.

I would order elsewhere then. I was able to get EP on my 2021 eco diesel Gladiator order and I only qualify for supplier discount. So obviously some dealers are willing to deal more than others. If you look on here there are others who have done even better than I did.

Is that on 2020 or 2021 models?
