Did you by chance have a door open or belt off? Or have you recently taken off your doors and put them back on? Could be a bent pin in the connector and the parking safety logic of the truck?

I do the same, but just street racing when young and dumb and scca. I rest my wrist on top as well. Sounds like the seat is reclined too far if your arm is bent that far to hold the bottom but the wheel needs to be that close to reach your wrist with arm extended on the top.

That's the problem. I am 5'11" with the seat all the way back but I have the steering wheel pushed away from me. Do that and no more elbow problems. You've created your own problem by dropping the wheel down and having it close to you.

I have one of the first sets of gen 3 as well, so they've been on a while. My 8 year old daughter loves them and has no problem with the rear door entry/exit using these. I believe the gen 3 made the back portion of the step longer specifically for that. As for me these have been flawless and...
